Akhil George [1] [2] [3] is an Indian cinematographer, who works predominantly in the Malayalam cinema industry. He is a graduate of the B.Tech in Electronics and Media Technology at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.
He started his career with the debut movie Adventures of Omanakkuttan in 2017 along with his college mate Rohith V.S, who directed the movie. Later gained acceptance for his collaborations with Rohith for the critically acclaimed movies Iblis and Kala. He did project design and jointly produced the movie Kala (2021 film) along with actor Tovino Thomas and Rohith V.S. [4]
He received the 2018 Vayalar Rama Varma Film Awards for Best Cinematography [5] [6]

Vayalar Ramavarma, also known as Vayalar, was an Indian poet and lyricist of Malayalam language. He was known for his poems which include Sargasangeetham, Mulankaadu, Padamudrakal, Aayisha and Oru Judas janikkunnu and for around 1300 songs he penned for 256 Malayalam films. He received the National Film Award for Best Lyrics in 1972 and was the winner of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyrics in its year of inception which he received three more times. He was also a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Poetry in 1962. His collaborations with G. Devarajan produced the golden era of Malayalam film music and many songs written and composed by these duo remain the ever green classics in Malayalam. Ramavarma is regarded as one of the most successful and critically acclaimed lyricist in the history of Malayalam cinema.
Malayalam cinema, is the segment of Indian cinema, dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Malayalam language widely spoken in the state of Kerala, India. In 1982, Elippathayam won the Sutherland Trophy at the London Film Festival, and Most Original Imaginative Film of 1982 by the British Film Institute. Rajiv Anchal's Guru (1997), Salim Ahamed's Adaminte Makan Abu (2011), Lijo Jose Pellissery's Jallikkattu (2019) and Jude Anthany Joseph’s 2018 (2023) were Malayalam films sent by India as its official entries for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards.
Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, known mononymously by the hypocorism Mammootty ), is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil language films. He has also appeared in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. In a career spanning five decades, he has acted in more than 400 films. He is the recipient of several accolades, including three National Film Awards, eight Kerala State Film Awards, eleven Kerala Film Critics Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. For his contribution to film, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 1998. In 2022, he was honoured with Kerala Prabha Award, the second-highest honour given by the Government of Kerala.
Madhupal Kannambathu is an Indian actor, director, and screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. Madhupal made his acting debut with Kashmeeram in 1994 and his directorial debut with Thalappavu (2008), which was about Naxal Varghese and won several awards in 2008.

Lucifer is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language political action thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. Premam is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language coming of age romance film written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren. Sudani from Nigeria is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language sports drama film written and directed by Zakariya Mohammed, with dialogues co-written by Muhsin Parari. Shyju Khalid was the cinematographer, who also produced the film with Sameer Thahir. It stars Soubin Shahir, with Samuel Abiola Robinson as the titular character. The story is about the bond between Samuel, Nigerian football player who joins a club in Malappuram, Kerala for a sevens football tournament and Majeed, Samuel's malayali football coach, who take care of him after he got a leg fracture.

Vikruthi (transl. Mischief) is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Emcy Joseph and produced by A. D. Sreekumar, Ganesh Menon and Lakshmi Warrier. The film stars Suraj Venjarammoodu and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The film is based on true events that occurred on a Kochi Metro train, where a picture of a sleeping hearing/speech-impaired man was taken and shared online by a passenger assuming he was drunk. It upsets the man and his family after it goes viral. The film was released on 4 October 2019. The film was remade in Tamil as Payanigal Gavanikkavum.
