Al Qassar station is a station on the Red Line of Qatar's Doha Metro and serves Al Qassar and Onaiza. The station also serves the nearby Doha Exhibition Center (DEC). [1]
The station was opened to the public on 8 May 2019 along with 12 other Red Line stations. [2]
Facilities in the station include a prayer room and restrooms. There is also a cafe, a convenience store, and an Ooredoo store. [1]
There are no metrolink lines currently serving the station.

The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system in the Doha Metropolitan Area of Qatar's capital city Doha, which became operational on 8 May 2019. It has three lines with an approximate overall length of 76 km (47 mi) and 37 stations. It is an integral component of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include a long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the GCC, and the Lusail LRT. Capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph), the Doha Metro has one of the fastest driverless trains in the world.
Qatar Railways Company, commonly known as Qatar Rail, is a state-owned railway company, responsible for rail transport in Qatar. It is owned and operated by the Government of Qatar. Established in 2011, the company is responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the entire rail network and systems. It manages Qatar's rail network. On May 8, 2019, Qatar rail started the preview service of Doha Metro with 13 stations on the Red Line, starting from Al-Qassar station in the North to Al-Wakra station in the South. The three metro lines that form the current network became fully operational by September 2020.

The Green Line, also known as the Education Line, is a rapid transit line of the Doha Metro in Qatar's capital city of Doha. Opened to the public on 10 December 2019, it runs east to west, beginning at Al Mansoura and terminating at the Al Riffa station on Dukhan Highway in Rawdat Al Jahhaniya. The line covers the total distance of 22 kilometres (14 mi). Part of the line runs underground, part at grade and part of it is elevated on viaducts. Currently, the line has 11 stations, but will expand to 31 stations spread over 65.3 km in the future.
Lusail QNB station, in Qatar, is the northern terminus of the Doha Metro's Red Line and serves the city of Lusail. The station is located on Al Khor Coastal Road. The naming rights to the station are currently held by QNB Group.
Education City station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line in Education City. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Education City, Bani Hajer, and the associated districts of Education City such as Gharrafat Al Rayyan and Al Shagub. The station is located on Al Luqta Street.
The Qatar National Library station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line in the Al Shagub district. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Al Shagub and other districts associated with Education City and Qatar Foundation. It is located on Al Luqta Street, beside the Qatar National Library.
Al Shaqab station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. Irrespective of its name, the station is located on Huwar Street in Old Al Rayyan, but is near the border with Al Shaqab. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Education City, Al Shaqab, Old Al Rayyan, Al Luqta and the suburb of Ain Al Rakheesa.
Al Messila station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. It serves the districts on the border between Doha and Al Rayyan, specifically Al Messila, Al Sadd, New Al Hitmi, and Lebday. It is found on Al Rayyan Road in Al Sadd, across the street from Al Sadd's boundary with Al Messila.
Hamad Hospital station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line in Qatar. It is found on Al Rayyan Road in the Al Sadd district of Doha, opposite Hamad Hospital in Hamad Medical City. It serves both the aforementioned districts.
Al Bidda station is an interchange station between the Doha Metro's Green Line and the Red Line located in Al Bidda Park in the Al Bidda district. The station also serves Mushayrib, Fereej Bin Mahmoud, Rumeilah and Al Jasrah.
Qatar University station is a station on Doha Metro's Red Line and serves Qatar University on the northern outskirts of Doha, Qatar. The station is located within the campus of Qatar University.
DECC station is a station on Doha Metro's Red Line and serves the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in the Qatari capital Doha.

Al Doha Al Jadeda station is a station on Doha Metro's Red Line and serves Ad Dawhah al Jadidah district.
Al Matar Al Qadeem station is a station on Doha Metro's Red Line and serves the Old Airport district nearby Doha International Airport.
Al Aziziyah station is the western terminus of the Doha Metro's Gold Line and serves Al Aziziyah district. The station is adjacent to the Villaggio Mall.
