Al Rojo Vivo is a Spanish language news program hosted by María Celeste Arrarás on the American television network Telemundo, which has been broadcast on that network since 2002, replacing the long-running Ocurrió Así . The name derives from the Spanish language expression meaning heated until red hot, the glowing color of an object between about 500 °C and 800 °C. As in English it can be used to indicate intense emotion or a situation ready to be shaped or forged by public opinion.

María Celeste Arrarás Mangual, better known as María Celeste, is a Puerto Rican broadcast journalist, author, and television personality. Arrarás was selected for the cover of "Newsweek" magazine, who named her as one of the “20 Most Powerful Women” of the next generation of leaders. Arrarás has won three Emmy Awards for journalism. In August 2018, María Celeste was awarded with a Doctorate Honoris Causa from the Universidad Central de Bayamon in Puerto Rico, in recognition for her arduous philanthropic work.
