Alain Ledoux (9 October 1952 - 16 October 2008) was a Belgian table tennis player who competed in Paralympic Games where he won three bronze medals. He is the father of fellow table tennis player Marc Ledoux.

He competed for the first time in the Los Angeles 1984 Paralympics Games where he won a bronze medal. He won another medal four years later in Seoul 1988. He also took part in Barcelona 1992. He competed for the last time in Atlanta 1996 where he won the third bronze medal of his sport career.
He joined Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 as a personal coach.

Great Britain competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. Great Britain sent a delegation of around 400, of which 212 were athletes, to compete in eighteen sports at the Games. The team was made up of athletes from the whole United Kingdom; athletes from Northern Ireland, who may elect to hold Irish citizenship under the pre-1999 article 2 of the Irish constitution, are able to be selected to represent either Great Britain or Ireland at the Paralympics. Additionally some British overseas territories compete separately from Britain in Paralympic competition.
Natalia Dorota Partyka is a Polish para table tennis player. Born without a right hand and forearm, she participates in competitions for able-bodied athletes as well as in competitions for athletes with disabilities. Partyka reached the last 32 of the London 2012 Olympic women's table tennis.
The United States sent a delegation to compete at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. A total of 213 U.S. competitors took part in 18 sports; the only 2 sports Americans did not compete in were soccer 5-a-side and 7-a-side. Melissa Tapper is an Australian table tennis player. After competing at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, she represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in elite non-Paralympic competition. In March 2016, she became the first Australian athlete to qualify for both the Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics.

Marc Philippe Ledoux is a Belgian Paralympic table tennis player with cerebral palsy. His father, Alain Ledoux, also competed in Paralympic table tennis. Marc Ledoux has won two medals at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. He has won two European titles and also won silver and bronze medals in team events with Mathieu Loicq and Nico Vergeylen.

He competed at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where he won silver medals in the Men's Class 11. At Rio Paralympics, he became Australia's first male table tennis medalist since Terry Biggs won gold in 1984. At the 2024 Paris Paralympics, he won a bronze medal.
Josephine Rebeta Medina was a Filipino table tennis player. Medina represented the Philippines at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympics.
