The Alamo Quarry Market is a lifestyle center located in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of north central San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas, near the cities of Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills. It once functioned as a cement plant until it was abandoned. Since then it has been redeveloped into a thriving market with a Regal Cinema theater dominating the oldest building and is surrounded by other businesses including bookstores and many restaurants.
The Quarry still maintains the facade of the cement factory and its most notable feature and landmark is the four historical smokestacks that can be seen several miles from the Quarry. In 1998, Tramell Crow brought in structural restoration and preservation specialist Delta Structural Technology, Inc. to restore and preserve three of the four stacks. The structures are approximately 204 feet (62m) high, 18 feet (5.5m) diameter at the base, and 15 feet (4.6m) diameter at the top. These smokestacks had previously been retrofitted with steel bands every 20 feet (6.1m) from top to bottom, which had either rusted and fallen off or had relaxed providing little, if any structural confinement. The structural contractor utilized an exclusive retrofit technique which involved complete encapsulation of three of the four stacks using high performance structural composites saturated in an epoxy matrix. The installation took less than two months, and received multiple awards within the historical preservation and concrete construction industry.[citation needed]
Another popular feature of the Quarry is the many life-sized, brightly colored cow statues from the Cow Parade that are scattered throughout the market place.
The Quarry Village, a mixed-used development, is located across from the Alamo Quarry Market, and is much more dense and urban in design when compared to the Market. Its tenants include Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Trader Joe's, Five Guys and more.

A chimney is an architectural ventilation structure made of masonry, clay or metal that isolates hot toxic exhaust gases or smoke produced by a boiler, stove, furnace, incinerator, or fireplace from human living areas. Chimneys are typically vertical, or as near as possible to vertical, to ensure that the gases flow smoothly, drawing air into the combustion in what is known as the stack, or chimney effect. Mayfair Mall is a shopping mall located on Mayfair Road between North Avenue and Center Street in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, United States. It serves the Greater Milwaukee area, also Wisconsin's premier shopping Center and Largest Mall in Wisconsin with 161 stores. Mayfair Shopping Center was constructed from 1956 and completed in 1959 by the Hunzinger Construction Company. It has been expanded several times since it was first built.

Opened in 1988, the center is located along Jamboree Road and Interstate 5, straddling the borders of Irvine and Tustin. Its anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, XXI Forever, Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, and Gold's Gym with one vacant space last occupied by Sears. Westfield America, Inc., a precursor to Westfield Group, acquired the shopping center in 1998 and renamed it "Westfield Shoppingtown West Covina", dropping the "Shoppingtown" name in June 2005. In October 2013, the Westfield Group sold the mall to Starwood Capital Group and the mall is now managed by Pacific Retail Capital Partners.

The Shops at La Cantera is an open-air regional shopping mall located in La Cantera, San Antonio, near the Texas State Highway Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 interchange, on the city's Northwest Side. The initial phase of the project opened on September 16, 2005. The 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m2) center sits on a 150-acre (0.61 km2) site in La Cantera, a 1,700-acre (6.9 km2) master-planned resort community developed by USAA Real Estate Company. The anchor stores are Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Dillard's, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, and H&M.
International Plaza and Bay Street is a large, upscale shopping mall and dining destination located adjacent to the Tampa International Airport. The Outlet Collection Seattle, formerly SuperMall of the Great Northwest, is an outlet mall in Auburn, Washington, United States, that opened in August 1995. The mall is currently anchored by Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, Dave & Busters, and FieldhouseUSA. There are two vacant anchor spaces, previously occupied by Dick's Warehouse Sale and Bed Bath & Beyond, the latter of which will reopen as Best Buy Outlet in November 2023. Marina Pacifica is a marina-adjacent shopping mall featuring movie theaters, shopping, dining & copious parking. It is in southeastern Long Beach, California between Second Street and the Los Cerritos Channel. The shopping center has variously been named Marina Pacifica Mall and Marina Pacifica Shopping Center.
The Metro Theater is a defunct movie theater at 2626 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. It was designed by architecture firm Boak and Paris and built between 1932 and 1933. The theater is designed in the Art Deco style and originally contained 550 seats. Although the theater's interior was demolished after it was closed in 2005, the original facade remains intact as of 2023 and is a New York City designated landmark.
