Alan Mouchawar (born August 3, 1960) [1] is a former water polo player who won a silver medal for the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.[ citation needed ]
Mouchawar grew up attended Long Beach Poly High School in 1975-1978. [2]
Mouchawar attended undergraduate of Stanford University from 1978-1982. [3] He was also on the water polo team where he won 3 national championships and was a 4 time all American. Mouchawar then went to medical school at UCSD And graduated in 1987.[ citation needed ]
After San Diego State, he did an anesthesiology residency at UC San Francisco along with a fellowship at Stanford in 1992-93.[ citation needed ]
Mouchawar was on the Us National team that won the gold medal at the 1987 Goodwill Games, as well as the gold medal at the 1987 Pan American Games. [3]
After medical school he participated in the 1988 summer Olympics. He was on the team that won the US National team the silver medal at the 1988 Olympics. [3]
After the Olympics he did an anesthesia residency at UCSF and an ICU fellowship at Stanford. In 2002, he was inducted into the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame. [4] [5] [2] In 2003, he was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame. [6]
He currently works as a cardiac anesthesiologist at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.[ citation needed ]

She is one of four female players who competed in water polo at four Olympics; and one of two female athletes who won four Olympic medals in water polo. She is a leading goalscorer in Olympic water polo history, with 31 goals. In 2018, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame.
Robin Mary Beauregard is an American water polo player, who won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She also won a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Beauregard plays the position of center defender.

In May 2005 Golda received the Peter J. Cutino Award, given to the best player in women's collegiate water polo. She was also a member of the US Water Polo Team that won the bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In 2015, she was inducted into the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame.
Lauren Ashley Wenger is an American water polo player for the University of Southern California, who received the 2006 Peter J. Cutino Award as the best collegiate water polo player among Division I NCAA teams. Her position is two-meter defender.
Roy Allen Saari was an American swimmer and water polo player. He qualified for the 1964 Summer Olympics in both disciplines, and chose swimming, as the Olympic rules of the time did not allow him to compete in two sports. He won a gold medal as a member of the first-place U.S. team in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay, setting a new world record in the final with teammates Steve Clark, Gary Ilman and Don Schollander (7:52.1). Individually he earned a silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley (4:47.1). He also advanced to the finals of the 400-meter freestyle and 1,500-meter freestyle, placing fourth and seventh, respectively. Before the Olympics Saari became the first person to break the 17 minute barrier over 1500 m, but in the Olympic final he was suffering from a cold and clocked a mere 17:29.2.

Terry Alan Schroeder, DC is an American former water polo player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, in the 1988 Summer Olympics, and in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Schroeder is a chiropractor, practicing in Agoura Hills, California. He is a 1986 graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College – West where he met his wife, Lori Schroeder. They have two daughters. He is currently the head water polo coach at Pepperdine University, and has been since 2013. He also coached at Pepperdine from 1986–2005, but left to become the head coach for the United States Olympic team before returning to Pepperdine.
