Album of Love is a 1982 studio album by The Three Degrees.
By the early 1980s The Three Degrees had established themselves as a live attraction and favourite television guests in the UK. After their previous record label Ariola folded in 1980, they found themselves without a contract but that did not discourage the trio, consisting of Helen Scott, Sheila Ferguson and Valerie Holiday. Ferguson co-wrote "A Sonnet To Love" and performed lead vocals on that track. Scott was given a rare opportunity to take a full lead on "I Only Have Eyes for You". All three shared lead vocals on "MacArthur Park" This track, together with the "Fame Medley" had recently been performed by the group on their second television special for the BBC, "Take 3 Degrees", which had been screened a year earlier.

The Three Degrees is an American female vocal group formed circa 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although 16 women have been members over the years, the group has always been a trio. The current line-up consists of Valerie Holiday, Helen Scott, and Freddie Pool. Tabitha King is currently filling in for Helen Scott, who is currently suffering from COVID-19. The group were particularly successful in the UK, achieving 13 Top 50 hit singles between 1974 and 1985.
Sheila Diana Ferguson is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and author, who has worked primarily in the United Kingdom. Between 1966 and 1986, she was a member of the American female soul music group The Three Degrees, singing lead vocals on most of the group's biggest hits, most notably "When Will I See You Again", which had international success, topping the UK Singles Chart and peaking at #2 in the US.

Pentatonix are an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, consisting of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, and Kevin Olusola. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion, and beatboxing, they produce cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material. Pentatonix was formed in 2011 and subsequently won the third season of NBC's The Sing-Off, receiving $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. When Sony's Epic Records dropped the group after The Sing-Off, the group formed its YouTube channel, distributing its music through Madison Gate Records, a label owned by Sony Pictures.
