The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI),also known as Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) or Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO),is an Iranian dissident organization that was previously armed but has now transitioned primarily into a political group. Its headquarters are currently in Albania. The group's early ideology asserted that science,reason,and modernity are compatible with Islam. After the Iranian revolution the MEK clashed with the new theocratic Government of Iran,seeking to overthrow it and replace it with its own government. At one point the MEK was Iran's "largest and most active armed dissident group",and it is still sometimes presented by Western political backers as a major Iranian opposition group,but it is also deeply unpopular today within Iran,largely due to its siding with Iraq in the Iran–Iraq War.
The 2004 Madrid train bombings were a series of coordinated,nearly simultaneous bombings against the Cercanías commuter train system of Madrid,Spain,on the morning of 11 March 2004—three days before Spain's general elections. The explosions killed 193 people and injured around 2,050. The bombings constituted the deadliest terrorist attack carried out in the history of Spain and the deadliest in Europe since 1988. The attacks were carried out by individuals who opposed Spanish involvement in the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.

Libertas Spain is the name given to the activities of Declan Ganley's Libertas.eu in Spain. Unlike Libertas in other countries,Libertas Spain was not a political party in its own right.
