Alex Candelario (born February 26, 1975) is an American former professional cyclist. [1] After retiring from cycling, Candelario formed Big Island Bike Tours, a bicycle touring company on the island of Hawaii. [2]

Since then, he has won nearly every road race in North America with over 275 career victories, the most by any American rider at the time of retirement.
