The International Cycling Classic, also known as Superweek, was a multi-day cycling race held around Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The race took place annually from 1989 to 2011 and was contested over 17 days. [1] Beginning in 1999, there was also a women's edition of the race. [2]

The Giro di Lombardia, officially Il Lombardia, is a cycling race in Lombardy, Italy. It is traditionally the last of the five 'Monuments' of the season, considered to be one of the most prestigious one-day events in cycling, and one of the last events on the UCI World Tour calendar. Fred "Freddie" Rodriguez is an American former professional road racing cyclist. His nickname, Fast Freddie, is due to his reputation as a sprint specialist. Rodriguez won the United States National Road Race Championships four times, and won four stages at the Tour de Georgia. He competed in the men's individual road race at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Matthew Goss Australian cyclist

Matthew Harley Goss is a former Australian professional road and track racing cyclist, his final professional team before retirement was the UCI Professional Continental team ONE Pro Cycling. He first competed in track cycling before making a transition to the road. He earned a gold medal at the 2006 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in the Team Pursuit event and came in second place at the 2011 World Championships Road race. He also won the 2010 GP Ouest-France, the 2011 Milan–San Remo as well as 2 stages of the Giro d'Italia, among other victories.

The Japan Cup Cycle Road Race is an annual professional road bicycle racing classic one-day race held in the city of Utsunomiya in Japan since 1992. The race usually held in October each year. It is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 1.HC race as part of the UCI Asia Tour.

André Mahé French cyclist

André Mahé was a French road bicycle racer. He was born in Paris, France. He was a professional rider from 1945 until 1954. He jointly won the 1949 classic cycle race Paris–Roubaix with Serse Coppi in controversial fashion. In 1950 he won the classic Paris–Tours race.

Tour de Taiwan Taiwanese multi-day road cycling race

The Tour de Taiwan is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Taiwan since 1978, and has been part of the UCI Asia Tour since 2005. It has been classed a 2.1 category race for the first time in 2012.

The Tour of Qinghai Lake is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in the Qinghai province of China since 2002, named after Qinghai Lake. The race is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.HC race as part of the UCI Asia Tour. The race was to become part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020, although the event in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 event was held as a class 2.2 race with all domestic teams due to the international travel restrictions during the pandemic.

The Rund um Köln is a classic cycling race around the German city of Cologne. Since 2005 it is part of the UCI Europe Tour, being organised as 1.1 race. It is one of the oldest cycling races still running in Germany – where media-driven hostility towards professional cycling in the wake of repeated doping scandals has severely weakened the economic structure and viability of the sport. The Rund um Köln is the second-oldest race in Germany, just after Rund um die Hainleite, which was first held in 1908. Between the 1930s and late 1980s Rund um Köln was held as an amateur race. The race was contested every year on Easter Monday from 2000 to 2014. As of 2015 it is contested on the second Sunday in June.

The Tour de Korea is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in South Korea since 2001 as part of the UCI Asia Tour. It as rated by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.2 category race, then promoted to 2.1 category in 2014. The race is organized by the Korea Cycling Federation.

The U23 Liège–Bastogne–Liège or Liège–Bastogne–Liège Espoirs is a cycling race in Belgium, held eight days before the cycling classic, the Liège–Bastogne–Liège. This amateur version of the race began in 1986, and since 2005, it has been open to professionals under the age of 23.

The Tour of South China Sea is an annual professional road bicycle racing classic one-day race held in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau since 1996 as part of the UCI Asia Tour. It has been held during Christmas holiday every year since 1996 to celebrate the handover of Hong Kong and Macau to China. The race was won four times by Wong Kam-po. The race is currently rated by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 1.2 category race.

The Tour de Okinawa is an annual professional road bicycle racing classic one-day race held in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It was first started in 1989 as an amateur race, but became professional in 1999. It became part of the UCI Asia Tour in 2005. Until 2007, it was a one-day race, billing itself as the longest single-day course in Japan, but was transformed into a two-day stage race in 2008, its UCI category changing from 1.2 to 2.2. In 2008, the first day was a criterium, but from 2009, it was changed to a time trial run on the streets of Nago. The 2010 edition extended the second stage to 210 kilometers. The 2012 edition again returned to a single-day event.

The Tour of Chongming Island International Cycling Race is an annual elite women's road bicycle racing stage race held in Shanghai, China, named after Chongming Island.

The Melaka Governor Cup is an annual professional road bicycle racing classic one-day race held in Malaysia since 2007, named after Governor of Malacca. The race previously known as Melaka Chief Minister Cup and His Excellency Governor of Malacca Cup. The race is part of the UCI Asia Tour and was classified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 1.2 category races. The 2014 edition of the race was won by Alexandre Pliușchin of Moldova.
