John Meesen is a former Australian rules football player who played for the Melbourne Football Club and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Drafted with the 8th selection in the 2004 Draft, Meesen had a long wait to play his first senior game for the Adelaide Crows. Playing for Norwood in the South Australian National Football League, Meesen was a leading ruckman in the senior side, but was incapable of surpassing Rhett Biglands, Ben Hudson and Matthew Clarke for a spot in the Crows team. Following Biglands' 2007 season-ending injury in the 2006 preliminary final and Clarke's move to St Kilda, it was thought that Meesen would begin season 2007 as back-up ruckman to Hudson. However an injury-plagued pre-season saw Jonathon Griffin and Ivan Maric move ahead of him in the pecking order.

Mitchell Clisby is an Australian rules footballer who played with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the club from North Adelaide in the 2013 Rookie Draft, with pick number 19. Clisby made his debut in round 13, 2013, against St Kilda at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He played eight games for Melbourne in his debut season, but in 2014 was not selected for a single senior match and was subsequently delisted at season's end.

Josh Wagner is a professional Australian rules footballer former Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A defender, 1.89 metres tall and weighing 84 kilograms (185 lb), Wagner plays primarily on the half-back flank with the ability to push into the midfield. Born into a family with a strong heritage in Queensland Australian rules football, he is also the older brother of fellow Melbourne and former North Melbourne midfielder, Corey Wagner. He played top-level football early when he played in the seniors for the Aspley Football Club in the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) at sixteen years of age, in addition to playing in the 2012 AFL Under 18 Championships for Queensland. He missed out on selection in the 2012 AFL draft, spending the next three seasons at Aspley. His accolades in the NEAFL include a premiership, league representation and selection in the NEAFL team of the year. He was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club in the 2016 rookie draft and he made his AFL debut during the 2016 season.
Callum Wilkie is an Australian rules footballer playing for St Kilda in the Australian Football League (AFL). A defender, he played in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and was overlooked at four national drafts before St Kilda selected him with pick 3 in the 2019 rookie draft. Wilkie debuted in the opening round of the 2019 season.
