Alexander W. Hicks (born September 4, 1969) is a Canadian former ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks and the Florida Panthers. He is the son of Wayne Hicks. He is currently an assistant coach for the first Arizona State University NCAA D1 hockey team. [1]
Hicks played a total of 258 regular season games, scoring 25 goals and 54 assists for 79 points, collecting 247 penalty minutes. He also played 15 playoff games (11 with the Penguins and 4 with the Panthers) scoring 2 assists and collecting 8 penalty minutes. He spent 6 seasons playing in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany, playing one season with Eisbären Berlin and the Kölner Haie for five seasons before retiring. He was on the championship DEL team in 2002 with the Haie.
He was a member of the RHI's Buffalo Stampede championship team in 1994.
In 2002, Hicks founded the Alex Hicks Initiative, a non-profit charitable organization that provides, coordinates and distributes gifts and support to ill and underprivileged children in Cologne, Germany. The organization continues to thrive to this day. [2]

Robert Darren Boughner, nicknamed "The Boogieman", is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is currently an associate coach for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). As head coach of the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League, Boughner won two Memorial Cup Canadian major junior national championships, in 2009 and 2010 and won the CHL's Brian Kilrea Coach of the Year Award twice, in 2008 and 2009.
The Kölner Haie are an ice hockey club based in Cologne, Germany, that plays in the professional Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). The team was one of the founding members of the DEL.
Uwe Gerd Krupp is a German former professional hockey defenceman and former coach of the German national ice hockey team. Lance Nethery is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and coach, and current executive. He played 41 games in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers during the 1980–81 and 1981–82 seasons. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1979 to 1990, was split between the minor leagues and then in Europe, mainly in the Swiss Nationalliga A. After his playing career Nethrey became a coach and manager in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, working in those roles between 1993 and 2019.
Clayton Beddoes is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey centre. He played two seasons in the National Hockey League. He last coached the Italian team HC Bolzano, and has coached the Italian national team at two World Championships.

Benjamin Robert Hanowski is an American professional ice hockey player who is currently under contract to Kölner Haie in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). An alumnus of the St. Cloud State Huskies, he was a third-round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins, 63rd overall, at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Hanowski was dealt to the Calgary Flames before turning professional as part of the trade that sent Jarome Iginla to Pittsburgh. He made his NHL debut late in the 2012–13 season, scoring his first goal in his first game.

Andrej Šustr is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman for the Kölner Haie of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Previously he played in the NHL for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Anaheim Ducks. An undrafted player, Šustr made his NHL debut with the Lightning in 2013 after playing three seasons of college ice hockey with the University of Nebraska Omaha.
