On 22 January 2024, Bernhardsson signed a contract with 2. Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel until 30 June 2027. [4]

International career

Bernhardsson made his full international debut for Sweden on 9 January 2023, playing for 90 minutes in a friendly 2–0 win against Finland. [5]
