Andrus Veerpalu is a retired Estonian cross-country skier. He is Estonia's most successful Winter Olympian, having won the gold medal in men's 15 km classical in 2002 and 2006, and silver in men's 50 km classical in 2002.
Trude Beiser is a former alpine ski racer from Austria. Born in Lech am Arlberg in Vorarlberg, she won two Olympic gold medals and a world championship. Beiser was the first female Austrian skier to win two Olympic gold medals at two Olympic Winter Games.
Barbara Petzold is a former East German Cross-country skier who competed during the 1970s and early 1980s. She won two gold medals at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid in the 10 km and the 4 × 5 km relay, and a bronze in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.
Ole Stenen was a Norwegian Nordic skier who competed in nordic combined and cross-country skiing in the 1920s and early 1930s.
Juha Iisakki Mieto is a Finnish former cross-country skier, who was born in Kurikka. He competed in the 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won five medals, including a gold medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1976. He also placed fourth three times, losing the 15 km bronze medal in 1972 by 0.06 seconds. He finished second in this event in 1980 in the closest-ever margin of victory in Olympic cross-country skiing, 0.01 seconds, which led the International Ski Federation (FIS) to round all of their times to the nearest 1/10 second in future competitions. Mieto was selected as the Finnish flag bearer at the 1972 Winter Olympics.
Gerhard Grimmer was an East German cross-country skier who competed during the 1960s and 1970s. He won several medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, including golds in the 50 km and the 4 × 10 km relay ; silvers in the 30 km (1970), 4 × 10 km relay (1970), and 15 km (1974); and a bronze in the 50 km (1970). Grimmer also won the Holmenkollen ski festival at 50 km twice (1970–71). He competed at three Olympics and his best Olympic finish was fifth at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck in the 50 km.
Gert-Dietmar Klause is a former East German cross-country skier who competed at three Olympic Games from 1968 to 1976. He won a silver medal in the 50 km at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.
Finn Christian "Finken" Jagge was a Norwegian alpine skier.
Alois Stadlober is an Austrian former cross-country skier who competed from 1988 to 2000. He earned two medals at the 1999 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the 4 x 10 km relay and a silver in the 10 km.

Evelyn Amie "Evie" Pinching was a British alpine skier, born in Norwich, who won the 1936 women's downhill and combined events in the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Innsbruck, Austria. She also competed in the 1936 Winter Olympics, where she finished ninth in the alpine skiing combined. In 1937 Pinching won the Hahnenkamm downhill in Kitzbühel.
Kévin Rolland is a French freestyle skier. He won the gold medal at the 2009 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in the halfpipe. He lost his title in 2011 to the Canadian Mike Riddle but still finished on the podium at the second place.
Thailand competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7 to 23 February 2014. The Thai team consisted of two athletes, Vanessa Vanakorn and Kanes Sucharitakul, both competing in alpine skiing. This was Thailand's third appearance at a Winter Olympic Games, and their first since 2006, having missed the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Luxembourg sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7–23 February 2014. This was Luxembourg's eighth appearance at a Winter Olympic Games. The Luxembourgian team consisted of one athlete in cross-country skiing, Kari Peters. In the only event he contested, the men's sprint, he finished in 79th place. He withdrew from the 15 km classical due to illness.
Turkey competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018. The Turkish team consisted of eight athletes, competing in four sports, including ski jumping for the first time.
Jocelyn Wardrop-Moore is a British alpine skier. She competed in two events at the 1956 Winter Olympics held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. She finished 35th of 47 in the slalom and 42nd of 44 in the giant slalom.
Mike Jacoby is an American snowboarder who competed in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.
