Alexandru Britov (born 1964) is a Soviet rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

Frim also won the Grand Prix of Sports Aviation and Cup of Brasov Aero-Club in 1939. Frim later participated in World War II as a pilot for Romania.

Alexandru Bratan is a male weightlifter from Moldova. He twice competed for his native country at the Summer Olympics: 2000 and 2004. He is best known for winning the silver medal in the men's heavyweight division at the 2005 World Weightlifting Championships. His brother is Eugen Bratan.

Coci also became the first swimmer for the University of Alabama to break a 47-second barrier, when he posted a time of 46.50 seconds in the same stroke at the NCAA Division I Championships.

Alexandru Roșu is a Romanian weightlifter. Rosu represented Romania at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight class (69 kg). Unfortunately, Rosu did not finish the event, as he successfully lifted 136 kg (300 lb) in the single-motion snatch, but failed to hoist 165 kg (364 lb) in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk.
