Alexandru Rotaru (born 28 February 1929) is a Romanian rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1952 Summer Olympics. [1]

Alexandru "Dudu" Frim was a Romanian bobsledder who competed in the 1930s. He won the gold medal in the two-man event at the 1934 FIBT World Championships. He also finished 15th in the two-man event at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Frim was also an aviator, earning his pilot license in 1931. Frim also won the Grand Prix of Sports Aviation and Cup of Brasov Aero-Club in 1939. Frim later participated in World War II as a pilot for Romania.
Ioana Cristina Rotaru is a Romanian rower. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal in women's eight. At the 2004 Summer Olympics she won a gold medal at the same discipline. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was part of the Romanian team that finished 4th.

Unfortunately, Rosu did not finish the event, as he successfully lifted 136 kg (300 lb) in the single-motion snatch, but failed to hoist 165 kg (364 lb) in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk.
