SWV is an American R&B vocal trio from New York City, New York whose members are Cheryl (Coko) Gamble, Tamara (Taj) Johnson and Leanne (Lelee) Lyons. Formed in 1988 as a gospel group, SWV became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s. They had a series of hits, including "Weak", "Right Here ", "I'm So into You", and "You're the One". The group disbanded in 1998 to pursue solo projects and reunited in 2005. SWV has sold more than 25 million records worldwide.
Kirk Dewayne Franklin is an American choir director, gospel singer, songwriter, and author. He is best known for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs such as The Family, God's Property, and One Nation Crew (1NC) among many others. He has won numerous awards, including 16 Grammy Awards. Variety dubbed Franklin as a "Reigning King of Urban Gospel", and is one of the inaugural inductees into the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame.

The group was launched into mainstream recognition following the release of their best-selling debut album, Trin-i-tee 5:7 (1998), which contained the top-charting gospel single "God's Grace". The album became certified gold. Despite critical and commercial success, the group experienced a lineup change when as Terri Brown left the group in 1999.

Kierra Valencia "Kiki" Sheard-Kelly is an American gospel singer, songwriter, fashion designer, actress, entrepreneur, author and creative director. She is the daughter of gospel singer Karen Clark Sheard and granddaughter of gospel choral director Mattie Moss Clark. Geoffrey Dickerson Golden is an American gospel musician. His music career started in 2014, with the appearance and victory on the gospel singing competition, Sunday Best. He released, a live album, Kingdom...LIVE!, with RCA Inspiration and Fo Yo Soul Recordings, in 2015. This album was his Billboard magazine breakthrough release.
Cory Hunter Asbury is an American Christian musician, worship pastor and songwriter. He is a worship pastor at Radiant Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is a member of the Bethel Music collective.
