Paul Downton retired as Director of Cricket at the end of the 2023 season,and was replaced by bowling coach Simon Cook. Former Kent bowler Robbie Joseph replaced Cook as bowling coach. Batting coach Alex Gidman left his role to become assistant coach with the England women's team. Gidman was replaced by Toby Radford.
