Thiruvananthapuram,( TIRR-oo-və-NUN-təp-OOR-əm; Malayalam:[t̪iɾuʋɐnɐn̪d̪ɐpuɾɐm] ) formerly known as Trivandrum,( trih-VAN-drəmEnglish:/t̪iɾʋænɖɾʊm/ ) is the capital city of the Indian state of Kerala.
