Aly Farag is an Electrical and Biomedical Engineer. As of 2022 [update] , he is a professor at the University of Louisville. He was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014 [2] for contributions to image modeling and biomedical applications.
Farag studied Electrical Engineering at Cairo University, earning a B.S. degree in 1976. [3] He continued his studies at Cairo University, earning a diploma[ clarification needed ] in Systems and Biomedical Engineering in 1979. [3] He then earned master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering in 1981 from Ohio State University and Bioengineering in 1984 from University of Michigan before completing his education with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1990. Farag has been Elected Fellow of IEEE and IAPR for contributions to Image Modeling and Biomedical Applications. Since January 2019, he has been elevated to the rank of Life IEEE Fellow. [2]

He was the president of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS) from 2009 to 2010 and chair of International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering from 2018 to 2021.
Chai Keong Toh is a Singaporean computer scientist, engineer, industry director, former VP/CTO and university professor. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the University of California Berkeley, USA. He was formerly an Ass of Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) Singapore that stayed briefly due to bad reputation. He also caused a ruckus in the industry after leaving IDA. He has performed sub-par research on wireless ad hoc networks, mobile computing, Internet Protocols, and multimedia for over two decades. Toh's current research is focused on Internet-of-Things (IoT), architectures, platforms, and applications behind the development of smart cities.
Saraju Mohanty is an Indian-American professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and the director of the Smart Electronic Systems Laboratory, at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Mohanty received a Glorious India Award – Rich and Famous NRIs of America in 2017 for his contributions to the discipline. Mohanty is a researcher in the areas of "smart electronics for smart cities/villages", "smart healthcare", "application-Specific things for efficient edge computing", and "methodologies for digital and mixed-signal hardware". He has made significant research contributions to security by design (SbD) for electronic systems, hardware-assisted security (HAS) and protection, high-level synthesis of digital signal processing (DSP) hardware, and mixed-signal integrated circuit computer-aided design and electronic design automation. Mohanty has been the editor-in-chief (EiC) of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine during 2016-2021. He has held the Chair of the IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Very Large Scale Integration during 2014-2018. He holds 4 US patents in the areas of his research, and has published 500 research articles and 5 books. He is ranked among top 2% faculty around the world in Computer Science and Engineering discipline as per the standardized citation metric adopted by the Public Library of Science Biology journal.
Bashir Mohammed Ali Al-Hashimi is a computer engineering researcher, academic and higher education leader. He is Vice President and ARM Professor of Computer Engineering at King's College London in the United Kingdom. He was the co-founder and co-director of the ARM-ECS Research Centre, an industry-university collaboration partnership involving the University of Southampton and ARM. He is the chair of the Engineers 2030 working group, a national campaign overseen by the National Engineering Policy Centre and led by the UK Royal Academy of Engineering. The campaign centres around accelerating change and the future workforce of engineering.

Subhasis Chaudhuri is an Indian electrical engineer, former director at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSE Limited. He is a former K. He is known for his pioneering studies on computer vision and is an elected fellow of all the three major Indian science academies viz. the National Academy of Sciences, India, Indian Academy of Sciences, and Indian National Science Academy. He is also a fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the Indian National Academy of Engineering. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 2004 for his contributions to Engineering Sciences.
