Amanda Beatriz Olivares Phillip (born March 3, 1966, in Puebla, Mexico) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who represented her country in the 1988 Miss Universe pageant, held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 23, 1988, and obtained the second runner-up. Amanda married and always wanted to be a Home maker, Mother and Wife. [1]

During Miss Universe, Amanda Olivares was also the only contestant from the Americas, as well as the only non-Asian to make it into the top five that year. She is the best friend of Mercedes Rodriguez Silva, Gabriela Silva, Laura Ortega and Zandra Rodríguez. Amanda has 3 daughters; Amanda, Joyce and Tania Tame Olivares. She is happily married to Esteban Pedroche Gomez and is still living in her Home Town Puebla in Mexico.

The 11th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro Tangamanga of San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico September 11, 2004. Twenty-five contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Laura Elizondo from Tamaulipas, who later competed in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand where she was the 3rd Runner-up. Elizondo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosalva Luna. She was the second Tamaulipeca and the first red hair to win this title.

The 17th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on September 25, 2010. The State of Jalisco, won for the third consecutive year with Karin Ontiveros, who later competed in Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil. Ontiveros was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder and Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete. She was the fourth Jalisciense to win this Title. Thirty-one contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title.

The 8th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Aeropuerto Internacional "Lic. Adolfo López Mateos" of Toluca, Estado de México, Mexico on September 28, 2001. Forty-seven contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Ericka Cruz from Yucatán, who later competed in Miss Universe 2002 in Puerto Rico. Cruz was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Jacqueline Bracamontes. She is the first and only Yucateca and the third winner of foreign descent to win this Title.

Thirty-eight contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Rosalva Luna from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss Universe 2004 in Ecuador where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 15. Luna was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Marisol González. She was the first Sinaloense to win this Title.

Carrillo was crowned by outgoing Miss Earth México titleholder Cristal Silva. She is the first Sinaloense to win this title.
