Amara Muzik is a music label with rights to some of the latest top Odia, Gujarati, Bengali and Chhattisgarhi music.
The company was founded in 2015 by Naveen Bhandari who now serves as the CEO, Managing Director of the company. It is headquartered at Chennai, India. In 2015 the company made their catalogue available worldwide through online digital stores including YouTube, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon music, JioSaavn, Gaana etc. and on mVAS (WAP, IVR, RBT) across telecom operators. [1] In 2016, Amara Muzik diversified its market in Bengal.
In 2016, Amara Muzik acquired the audio-video catalogue of Micro Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) for an undisclosed amount. The catalogue consists of 160 Odia songs acquired for a perpetual tenure. [2]
In April 2016, Amara Muzik launched the music of one of the most anticipated Odia Movie in Agastya. [3]
In September 2017, Amara Muzik Odia channel crosses a milestone of 1,00,000 subscribers on YouTube, the popular video-sharing website. [4]
In 2017, Amara Muzik forayed into 2 other regional languages - Chattisgarhi and Rajasthani. They also started acquiring and promoting Bengali shortfilms.
In 2018, Amara Muzik expanded into a production wing for producing movies in Odia and Chattisgarhi languages and named it Amara Studios. Amara Studios has announced 6 movies both in Odia and Chattisgarhi.
In 2021, Amara Muzik started acquiring content in the Gujarati space with the likes of Jignesh Barot, Rohit Thakor and more.

Kedarnath Bhattacharya, professionally known as Kumar Sanu, is an Indian playback singer who primarily sings in Hindi film songs. Apart from Hindi, he has also sung in other languages including Bengali, Marathi, Nepali, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Manipuri, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Punjabi, Odia, Chhattisgarhi, Urdu, Pali, English and his native language Bengali, both in West Bengal and Bangladesh. He holds the record for winning five consecutive Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer from 1991 to 1995. He holds the Guinness Book of world records since 1993 for recording the maximum number of songs in a single day.
Tara Newz was an Indian Bengali-language satellite and cable 24-hour news and current affairs television channel owned by the Saradha Group, a chit fund company. It was launched on 21 February 2005, airing regional news coverages, after being split from Tara Bangla, which was launched on 28 April 2000. Tara Newz was targeted to Bengali-speaking audiences in both India and Bangladesh. It is broadcast from Tara's headquarters in Salt Lake, Kolkata. Due to financial reasons, the channel was shut down in 2013.

Prem Anand is an Indian music director and composer. He usually works in Odia film and television industry. In 2006, he started his career as a music director through the Odia movie Tu Eka Ama Saha Bharasa and worked as a music director in more than 60 Odia films. Apart from Odia films, he composed music for Odia daily shops, Bhajans and Jatra songs. In 2009, Anand worked as a music director for the Hindi film Dekha Bhai Dekh in 2019, he composed music for Bollywood film Luv U Turn. Apart from Odia and Hindi films, he composed music for Marathi and Bengali films. He composed the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup anthem.

Goyenda Tatar is a Bengali adventure detective film directed by Srikanta Galui and produced by Binod Kumar Pandey and Usha Pande. Music is composed by Anirban Ray Akash. The storyline of the film is based on the story, Chotur Goyenda Choturabhijan, by Sasthipada Chattopathyay, and follows a group of kids led by Goenda Tatar, who are dragged into a kidnapping case. The film was theatrically released on 4 January 2019.
