Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby is a British BBC documentary television series, presented by the journalist Giles Coren [1] and the chef Monica Galetti, and started in 2017. [2] [3] [4]

Contents

Each programme in the series is based on a luxury hotel. The presenters take a hands-on approach, investigating the running of the hotel, hence the subtitle of the series. The programmes are shown on BBC Two.

The fourth series ran in 2021. [5]

On 31 October 2022, the BBC announced that Rob Rinder will be the series' new co-presenter replacing Giles Coren who left after series four. [6]

As well as owning several restaurants, Rhodes also had his own line of cookware and bread mixes. Scientology and Me is a television documentary first broadcast on 14 May 2007 as part of the BBC's Panorama series. In it, reporter John Sweeney visited the United States to investigate whether the Church of Scientology was becoming more mainstream. The programme gained particular controversy before and during filming due to unresolved differences on content and approach between Sweeney's production team and Scientology members. Tommy Davis, the international spokesperson for Scientology, did not want the BBC to interview any detractors or perceived enemies of the church or include them in the documentary, and attempted to censor any references to Scientology as a "cult."

MasterChef: The Professionals is a BBC television competitive cooking show which aired on BBC Two from 2008 to 2019, and on BBC One since 2020. It is a spin-off from the main MasterChef series, for professional working chefs. Introduced in 2008, Gregg Wallace and India Fisher reprised their roles as co-judge and voiceover respectively. She was senior sous-chef at Le Gavroche in London. As well as appearing as a judge on MasterChef: The Professionals from 2009 to 2021 and again in 2023, she has presented Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby with Giles Coren and Rob Rinder since 2017.
