The American Samoa national futsal team represents American Samoa in international futsal. It is controlled by Football Federation American Samoa (FFAS), the governing body of football in American Samoa. The team played the OFC Futsal Championship for the first time in 2019, losing all three group matches and play-off semi-final.

Brazil also holds a record twelve championship wins in the South American Futsal Championship also known as the Copa América de Futsal and five wins in the Taça América de Futsal. As of November 2016, Brazil is ranked first in the Futsal World Rankings. Brazil has played in all FIFA Futsal World Cups and has finished in the top three places eight times, which includes the recent Futsal World Cup in 2021.

Tunoa Lui is an American Samoan football coach who trained the national team of American Samoa for a period of one year. He resigned from the position in 2001. Since 2017 he is the coach of the American Samoa national under-18 futsal team.
