Amol Parashar is an Indian actor, best known for his versatile portrayals of popular characters across web shows and films. His most famous character is of Chitvan Sharma in the web series TVF Tripling and playing the legendary Indian Freedom Revolutionary Bhagat Singh in Shoojit Sircar's acclaimed Sardar Udham .
He has also starred in films like Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare opposite Konkona Sen Sharma, [2] and Traffic opposite Manoj Bajpayee, [3] Hindi remake of a Malayalam thriller film. Parashar was last seen in the comedy caper Cash in his first lead role, produced by Vishesh Bhatt.
Amol also starred in It Happened in HongKong opposite Aahana Kumra. [4]
Parashar graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as a Mechanical engineer and later quit his job at ZS Associates to join the arts. [5]
Parashar's performance in Babloo Happy Hai was appreciated by the critics. The Times of India stated "Amol Parashar looks promising". [6] The Sunday Indian said "Amol Parashar stands out". Agent Raghav – Crime Branch is an Indian crime fiction anthology television series, which premiered on &TV from 5 September 2015 to 10 April 2016 for one hour at Saturday and Sunday nights. The series star Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar in lead roles, along with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Nidhi Bisht, Kumud Mishra, and Shernaz Patel. It traces the story of three siblings, who together start a hilarious journey to find themselves and their relations. The first season has music and background score composed by Amar Mangrulkar, with cinematography and editing done by G. Srinivas Reddy, Anand Subbaiya and Tamojit Das respectively.

India Lockdown is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and produced by P J Motion Pictures and Pen India Limited along with Bhandarkar Entertainment. The film stars an ensemble cast of Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Prakash Belawadi and Saanand Verma. The film was scheduled for a world premiere at the 52nd International Film Festival of India. The film was commercially released on ZEE5 on December 2, 2022. The movie deals with the repercussions of the COVID-19 lockdown in India and how the people of the country struggled through it.
