Andraca chrysocollis is a moth of the family Endromidae. It is found in the Philippines (Luzon).

The wingspan is 39–42 mm. The wing shapes, ground colour and wing pattern are very similar to Andraca apodecta , but the pattern is more vague and the bluish scales are mainly found in the basal part of the forewing. The discal spot is small, dark grey and pointed with a few bluish scales. Adults are on wing in April and from September to October, probably in multiple generations per year. [1]

Scale (insect anatomy)

The presence of scales on the wings of Lepidoptera, comprising moths and butterflies, characterises this order of insects. The name is derived from Ancient Greek λεπίδος (scale) and πτερόν (wing). The wings of Lepidoptera are minutely scaled, which feature gives the name to this order. Scales also cover the head, parts of the thorax and abdomen as well as parts of the genitalia.

Quantum image processing (QIMP) is primarily devoted to using quantum computing and quantum information processing to create and work with quantum images. Due to some of the astounding properties inherent to quantum computation, notably entanglement and parallelism, it is anticipated that QIP technologies will offer capabilities and performances that are, as yet, unrivaled by their traditional equivalents. These improvements could be in terms of computing speed, guaranteed security, and minimal storage requirements, etc.
