Andreas Hamnes

Andreas Hamnes (born 21 August 1941) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.

He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Akershus during the term 20052009.

He was mayor of Skedsmo from 1991 to 2006. He was forced to resign following the Nedre Romerike Vannverk scandal. [1]

The Bothersome Man is a 2006 Norwegian film. It was directed by Jens Lien after a script by Per H. V. Schreiner. The film stars Trond Fausa Aurvåg, Petronella Barker and Per Schaaning. The story is about a man suddenly finding himself in an outwardly perfect, yet empty and unfulfilling dystopia, and his attempt to escape. The film was well received by critics, and was awarded three Amanda Awards in 2006.

The Norwegian Public Safety Network is a public safety network system based on Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA). Nødnett is implemented by the Directorate for Emergency Communication. The network is primarily used for internal and interdisciplinary communication by the police, fire departments and health services. Nødnett is also used by several organisations participating in rescue and emergency work. Planning of the network started in 1995 and in 2006 the contract to build it was awarded to Nokia Siemens Networks. As Nokia Siemens Networks was unable to complete the contract, it was passed on to Motorola Solutions in 2012. The critical infrastructure of Nødnett was finished and was operational in all districts of mainland Norway by December 1, 2015.

Rotsund or Rotsundelv is a village in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located along the Rotsundet strait, across from the island of Uløya. The village sits along the river Rotsundelva, along the European route E06 highway about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of the municipal centre of Storslett. Rotsund Chapel is located in this village. On the western end of the village, there is a ferry port with regular ferry service to Hamnes and Klauvnes on the island of Uløya.

Brattvær Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the tiny hamlet of Brattvær, just south of the larger village of Råket on the western coast of the island of Smøla. It is the church for the Brattvær parish which is part of the Ytre Nordmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre.
