Andrew Joseph Loiselle [1] (born 1966) [2] is a United States Navy rear admiral who has served as the Director of Air Warfare since August 18, 2021. Previously, he was Commander of Carrier Strike Group 4 from June 15, 2020, to May 17, 2021. [3] [4] [5] [6]

Raised in Cranston, Rhode Island, Loiselle graduated from Assumption College in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. After completing flight school, he was designated a naval aviator in January 1991. Loiselle later earned an executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in June 2004. He is also a graduate of the navy's nuclear power school. [3] [7]

Carl Frederick Holden was a decorated officer in the United States Navy who reached the rank of Vice Admiral. A veteran of both World Wars, he became an expert in Naval communications, graduating with Master's degree in electrical communications from the Harvard University. Holden served as Director of Naval Communications between September 1942 - April 1943 and distinguished himself as commanding officer of battleship USS New Jersey, the flagship of Admiral William F. Halsey. He rose to the admiral's rank in 1945 and commanded Cruiser Division 18 in late phase of the World War II.

Sara Annette Joyner is a United States Navy officer. She is the first female strike fighter pilot to command a United States Navy fighter squadron and a carrier air wing. Her promotion to rear admiral was authorized by the United States Senate on 25 May 2017. Carl Andrew Lahti is a United States Navy rear admiral and submarine warfare officer who is dual-hatted as the 36th commander of the United States Naval Forces Japan and commander of Navy Region Japan since July 14, 2021. As CNFJ/CNRJ, Lahti is responsible for providing shore readiness to U.S. naval forces in Japan and maritime support to the American forward presence in Japan as well as cooperation with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to promote regional stability and deter aggression. He previously served as the 3rd commander of the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center from May 8, 2018 to May 31, 2019, with command tours as commodore of Destroyer Squadron 31 from January 2011 to July 2012 and commanding officer of USS Chung-Hoon (DDG-93) from September 2005 to April 2007. Michael P. "Buzz" Donnelly is a United States Navy rear admiral and naval flight officer who serves as the commander of Carrier Strike Group 5 and Task Force 70 since October 21, 2021. He most recently served as the 37th commander of the United States Naval Forces Korea, concurrently serving as Commander, Navy Region Korea, Commander, Task Force 78, Commander, Naval Component, United States Forces Korea and United Nations Command from April 25, 2019 to September 29, 2021.
