Andrew Prendeville (born October 5, 1981) is an American professional automobile racer.

In 2004, Prendeville took second place in the Cooper Tires Formula Ford 2000 national championship. In 2002, at the Valvoline Runoffs, he won the SCCA Formula Continental national championship, sharing the position as SCCA's Rookie of the Year.

Based in Las Vegas, Prendeville raced in the Indy Pro Series for Andersen Racing from the start of the 2007 season until the middle of the 2008 season. [1] [2] Until departing to "pursue other opportunities", [2] Prendeville drove car No. 5, with signage dedicated to Best Friends Animal Society. [1] In 2007, in coordination with the no-kill animal sanctuary, Prendeville launched "Racing Laps for Best Friends", a fundraising initiative that included a website for donation and promotional appearances. In July 2007, Prendeville was named an honorary citizen of Indianapolis in response to his fundraising efforts. [3] He was replaced in car No. 5 by Daniel Herrington. [2] He returned to the series for 2009, driving for Team Moore Racing. [4] He finished a career-best 9th in points with a best finish of third at Chicagoland Speedway.

A resident of Chatham Township, New Jersey, [5] Prendeville, who graduated from Chatham High School in 2000, [1] is the younger brother of Doug Prendeville, who is also a professional driver.

The 2007 IRL Indy Pro Series was the sixth season of the developmental open-wheel racing series under the Indy Racing League ownership, and the 22nd in Indy NXT combined history, as officially recognized by IndyCar. All teams used Dallara IL-02 chassis, which was fitted with a new wing package, as well as unbranded TWR engines and Firestone tires.

In his second season in the series, Alex Lloyd became the runaway champion with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, clinching the title with two races remaining at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. Lloyd won the first five races of the season, tying Greg Moore's start of the 1995 season for the all-time consecutive wins record in Indy Lights history. Aided by an expanded schedule, Lloyd won eight races including the Freedom 100, and became the third driver to reach that number after Paul Tracy's nine wins in 1990 and Moore's ten wins in 1995.

The 2003 IRL Infiniti Pro Series was the second season of the series under the Indy Racing League ownership, and the 18th in Indy NXT combined history, as officially recognized by IndyCar. All teams used Dallara IL-02 chassis and Infiniti engines.

The 2014 season was the first promoted by Andersen Promotions, who also promotes the other steps on the Mazda Road to Indy.
