Anna Vissi is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens.
Constantinos Christophorou is a Greek-Cypriot singer. He represented Cyprus in Eurovision Song Contest as a solo singer with "Mono Yia Mas" (1996) and "Ela Ela " (2005) and as part of the boy band formation One with "Gimme" (2002).

Anna Vissi Live! is the name of a live Greek album by singer Anna Vissi. It is her first live album and was released in Greece and Cyprus in December 1993. It was recorded in Zoom night club, in Plaka, Athens, a place where Vissi began her first shows in Greece during the 70s. The release was scheduled to celebrate the first two decades of Vissi's singing career (1973–1993). The tracklist included live covers of many of her hits so far, as well as covers of her early recordings back in the 70s, as to honour Stavros Kougioumtzis and Doros Georgiadis, the first composers she collaborated with. It also featured three duets with fellow singers Lampis Livieratos and Yannis Siamsiaris, who also served as backing vocalists. Anna Vissi dedicated the album to her daughter Sofia Karvela.

Initially, a CD single of Mala was released in Greece and Cyprus, containing four tracks which went gold, and later the complete album of the soundtrack was released containing 27 tracks, all written and produced by Nikos Karvelas himself and the orchestration/instrumentation was done by Giorgos Niarhos. It reached Gold status in Greece, and Platinum status in Cyprus.

Alexander "Alex P" Papaconstantinou is a Greek-Swedish songwriter and record producer. He has worked with a number of artists including Jennifer López, Paulina Rubio, Enrique Iglesias, Antique, Helena Paparizou, Arash, Anna Vissi, Cameron Cartio, Eleni Foureira, Sarbel and Tamta. In 2011, Papaconstantinou adopted the production pseudonym Alex P and started collaborating with record producer RedOne, joined RedOne's production and 2101 Songs writing team. His collaboration continued until 2014. Along with Adam Baptiste, Papaconstantinou has also been credited as a featured artist under the name "The WAV.s". Since 2017, he has been a member of the pop band VAX. Papaconstantinou has also written and co-written a number of notable songs for Eurovision Song Contest for Sarbel (Greece), Aysel and Arash (Azerbaijan), Ivi Adamou, Eleni Foureira, Tamta and Andromache (Cyprus).
Cyprus participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "An me thimasai" written by Andreas Giorgallis and Zenon Zindilis. The song was performed by Despina Olympiou, who was selected by the Cypriot broadcaster Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) in February 2013 to represent Cyprus at the 2013 contest in Malmö, Sweden. The Cypriot song, "An me thimasai", was presented to the public on 14 February 2013.
The 2013 MAD Video Music Awards were the 10th award ceremony, hosted by Themis Georgantas and Mary Sinatsaki. They took place on 25 June 2013. The awards were broadcast from the Tae Kwon Do Stadium in Athens, honoring the best music videos and artists of the past year. The theme song, "We Are Young", was performed by the Australian-Greek singer Vassy. The nominations were announced on 23 May 2013 by the presenter, Themis Georgantas. Vegas received five nominations, while Elena Paparizou, Sakis Rouvas, Michalis Hatzigiannis, Melisses and Demy received four. The song "All the Time" received three nominations, the most for any song.
