Cyprus participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Ela Ela ", which was written and performed by Constantinos Christoforou. Christoforou was internally selected by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) in November 2004 to represent the nation at the 2005 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. His song was selected through a national final, which was organised by CyBC and took place on 1 February 2005. The national final featured four songs performed by Christoforou and resulted in the selection of "Ela Ela " through a combination of public televote and jury deliberation.

Marinella & Antonis Remos – Live is the name of a live album by Greek singers Marinella and Antonis Remos. It is their first joint live album, was recorded at the Athens Arena and was released in December 2007 by Sony BMG Greece and Minos EMI. The album went Platinum selling over 30,000 units.
21os Akatallilos is the eighth studio album by Greek singer Sakis Rouvas and his second produced by Vangelis Yannopoulos, for Minos Emi. The album was released on 9 April 2000 in Greece and Cyprus, and debut at number one on the charts. As opposite to his former release Kati apo mena, there is no composition or any contribution by George Theofanous. Main composer was Stratos Diamandis and these songs were his first ever released. A tough bet taken by Sakis' producer, Vangelis Yannopoulos. Other remarkable contributions were the ones of two cult Greek bands Maskes and Ammos, plus the lyrics written by Greek actor star, Lakis Lazopoulos, and Greek lyricist Aris Davarakis. This album was Rouvas' fastest selling album ever since the beginning of his career. The dramatic instrumental introduction part of "Anteksa" featured, for many years, as the musical motto of all his live appearances. On track 6 "Stin mama sou", backing vocals are provided by his then manager Elias Psinakis and his then producer Vangelis Yannopoulos, by composer Stratos Diamandis and by other fellows who happened to be present at that moment in the studio premises... and were invited within the vocal booth.
Kati Apo Mena is the sixth studio album by Greek singer Sakis Rouvas, released on 3 December 1998. The album is largely written by Giorgos Theofanous. This was Rouvas' first album with Minos EMI group and gained success, becoming gold two months after its release.

Kardia Mou Min Anisiheis is the fifth studio album by Greek famous singer, Antonis Remos. It was released on 23 April 2002 by Epic and Sony Music and certified four times platinum in Greece, selling over 160,000 units, and double platinum in Cyprus, selling over 12,000 units. This was the best selling album of the year and for Remos's discography. It was his first collaboration with Giorgos Theofanous who was written and produced whole the album. In December 2001, Remos was released a CD single with two new tracks: "Ela Na Me Teliosis" and "Den Eho Pou Na Pao", which became double platinum. The album was re-released in May 2003, featuring remixes and the duet with Alkistis Protopsalti "S' Agapo".
