The Golden Greats is a greatest hits album by the British glam rock band Sweet, released in 1977. Their second UK compilation album after The Sweet's Biggest Hits which featured their hits in 1971/72, this album features all of their UK singles from 1973 to 1977 although the last three, "Lost Angels", "Fever of Love" and "Stairway to the Stars" failed to chart in the UK or the US. Artists such as Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, El DeBarge, Chico DeBarge, Joe, Brian McKnight and Gerald Levert took part in paying tribute to Gaye, all of whom considered the singer one of their biggest influences. The album peaked at number 97 on the Billboard Top 200 and number 20 on the Billboard R&B chart and released the cover versions of "Your Precious Love" and "You Sure Love to Ball" as singles.
The Fifth Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards was held on 25 March 1991 at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre in Sydney. He is the lead vocalist of the American indie rock band The Walkmen, with whom he has written and recorded seven studio albums between 2000 and 2014. Prior to The Walkmen's formation, Leithauser and bass guitarist and organist Peter Matthew Bauer were both members of The Recoys. Leithauser was born and raised in Washington, DC, and has lived in New York City since the 1990s.
