Famed songwriter Kostas had a major role by writing three of the album's tunes, including "Timber, I'm Falling in Love" and "The Lonely Side of Love", which peaked at #6.

Marvin Is 60: A Tribute Album is the second tribute album dedicated to Motown recording artist Marvin Gaye, released by Motown in 1999. The album featured covers of Gaye's hits including "Sexual Healing", "Your Precious Love" and "Distant Lover". Artists such as Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, El DeBarge, Chico DeBarge, Joe, Brian McKnight and Gerald Levert took part in paying tribute to Gaye, all of whom considered the singer one of their biggest influences. The album peaked at number 97 on the Billboard Top 200 and number 20 on the Billboard R&B chart and released the cover versions of "Your Precious Love" and "You Sure Love to Ball" as singles.
The Fifth Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards was held on 25 March 1991 at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre in Sydney. International host Bob Geldof was assisted by presenters to distribute 24 awards. There were live performances but the awards were not televised and the ceremony was noted for its three-hours plus length with Gary Morris, manager of Midnight Oil providing a 20-minute acceptance speech.

Let Me Be Your Angel is the second studio album by American singer Stacy Lattisaw. Released on April 21, 1980 by Cotillion Records, Lattisaw was 13 years old when this album was released. The album's first two singles, "Dynamite!" and "Jump to the Beat", both peaked at number one on the U.S. disco charts in 1980. This would be her first album produced by Narada Michael Walden.

James Hamilton Leithauser is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. From 2000 to 2014, he was the lead vocalist of the American indie rock band The Walkmen, with whom he recorded seven studio albums. Prior to The Walkmen's formation, Leithauser and bass guitarist and organist Peter Matthew Bauer were both members of The Recoys. Leithauser was born and raised in Washington, DC, and has lived in New York City since the 1990s.
