The Ibadan Province is an ecclesiastical province of the Church of Nigeria. It was created when the division into ecclesiastical provinces was adopted in 2002, and it comprises 19 dioceses, 117 archdeaconries and 623 parishes. [1]

The Church of Nigeria is the Anglican church in Nigeria. It is the second-largest province in the Anglican Communion, as measured by baptised membership, after the Church of England. As of 2016 it gives its membership as "over 18 million", out of a total Nigerian population of 190 million. It is "effectively the largest province in the Communion." As measured by active membership, the Church of Nigeria has nearly 2 million active baptised members. According to a study published by Cambridge University Press in the Journal of Anglican Studies, there are between 4.94 and 11.74 million Anglicans in Nigeria. The Church of Nigeria is the largest Anglican province on the continent of Africa, accounting for 41.7% of Anglicans in Sub-Saharan Africa, and is "probably the first [largest within the Anglican Communion] in terms of active members."
Ogbomoso is a city in Oyo State, south-western Nigeria. It was founded in the mid 17th century. The population was approximately 655,517 in 2024. It is the second largest city in Oyo State and also among the most populated in Nigeria. It is the 3rd most populated city in South Western Nigeria after Lagos and Ibadan. Although the principal inhabitants of the city are the Yoruba people, there are people from other parts of Nigeria and other West African countries who are residents in the city.
Osun State, occasionally known as the State of Osun by the state government, is a state in southwestern Nigeria; bounded to the east by Ekiti and Ondo states for 84 km and for 78 km respectively, to the north by Kwara State for 73 km, to the south by Ogun State for 84 km and to the west by Oyo State, mostly across the River Osun. Named for the River Osun—a vital river which flows through the state—the state was formed from the southeast of Oyo State on 27 August 1991 and has its capital as the city of Osogbo.

Sepeteri is the biggest town in the Saki East Local Government Area of Oke-Ogun Oyo State, Nigeria. The Yoruba people of Sepeteri are related with fon of dahomey and Ifon in Osun State their crownship is Obatala, Obalufon lineage under Oyo Empire. Sepeteri is located between Igboho, Ago-amodu and Oje Owode to Shaki, Ago-Are and Iseyin.
Although Muslims are a major part of the population in Osun State and it constitute 70% of its population, Nigeria. Bowen University of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and Joseph Ayo Babalola University of Christ Apostolic Church are present in the state. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Osogbo is present in the state as well. Osun Diocese of the Anglican Church of Nigeria has been founded in 1987 Ife Diocese in 1990 and Diocese of Oke-Osun in 1993. Osogbo has an All Saint’s Cathedral. Osun Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention claims to have more than 400 churches. The Evangelical Church of West Africa is present in Osogbo. Gunmen killed five people at a Cherubim and Seraphim church in Ile-Ife in 2011, which was related to the National Assembly election.
The Abuja Province is one of the 14 ecclesiastical provinces of the Church of Nigeria. It is one of the original 10 provinces, created when the current division was adopted in 2002, due to the huge dimension and growth of the Church of Nigeria. His headquarters are located in Abuja. The diocese comprises 17 dioceses, 96 archdeaconries and 476 parishes. The first archbishop and Bishop of the Diocese of Abuja was Peter Akinola, from 2002 to 2010. He was succeeded by Nicholas Okoh, who also held office as Bishop of the Diocese of Abuja from 25 March 2010 to 25 March 2020. The current archbishop is Henry Ndukuba. He was installed on 25 March 2020.

The Bishop Emeritus is Abraham Akinlalu who was succeeded by Foluso Taiwo in 2019. Taiwo died in November 2020, and was succeeded by Oluwagbemiro Fabuluje, elected in January 2021.
