The Anglican Diocese of Ibadan North [1] is one of 17 within the Anglican Province of Ibadan, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. [2] The current bishop is the Most Revd. Dr. Segun Okubadejo who incidentally is also the Archbishop of the Anglican Province of Ibadan [3] [4]

The cathedral for the Anglican Diocese of Ibadan North is The Cathedral Church of St. Peter located at Aremo Area of Ibadan, the Capital of Oyo State, Nigeria. The Very Reverend Dr. Adewale Adebiyi is the Provost of the Cathedral [5] .

The Church of Nigeria is the Anglican church in Nigeria. It is the second-largest province in the Anglican Communion, as measured by baptised membership, after the Church of England. As of 2016 it gives its membership as "over 18 million", out of a total Nigerian population of 190 million. It is "effectively the largest province in the Communion." As measured by active membership, the Church of Nigeria has nearly 2 million active baptised members. The Ibadan Province is an ecclesiastical province of the Church of Nigeria. The present Archbishop of Ibadan Province is Segun Okubadejo, who is also the Bishop of the Diocese of Ibadan North. He succeeded Joseph Akinfenwa in 2013.
