Anglican Diocese of Uyo

The Anglican Diocese of Uyo [1] is one of ten within the Anglican Province of the Niger Delta, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. [2] The current bishop is Prince Asukwo Antai. [3]

The first bishop of the diocese was Emmanuel Nglass [4] in 1990. Orama was consecrated a bishop on November 26, 2006, at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Abuja. [5] Prince Asukwo Antai was elected on 9 August 2014. [6]
