Anindra Ardiansyah Bakrie also known as Ardi Bakrie (born in Jakarta, Indonesia, 22 April 1979) is an Indonesian businessman and investor. He is the youngest son of Aburizal Bakrie and a member of the Indonesian conglomerate Bakrie family. He is currently the President Commissioner of PT. Viva Media Baru and Vice Director of Bakrie & Brothers. [1] [2]

Early life

Bakrie was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, 22 April 1979. His father is Aburizal Bakrie, an Indonesian business tycoon, and Tatty Murnitriati, the daughter of Indonesian Major General, Soepardi. The youngest of three children spent most of his teenage years in the United States, where he was attending his Finance and Business study at Georgetown University, and master's degree from Bentley University. Business career

Bakrie returned to Jakarta after he obtained his master's degree and became involved in Bakrie Group businesses. His career started to take off in 2008 when Bakrie was appointed as the Vice President Director at PT Lativi Mediakarya. The station was subsequently relaunched as "TV One" and repositioned to focus on news for middle-class viewers. [3]

In 2011, Bakrie was appointed as the President Director of Bakrie's Group PT Lativi Mediakarya dan PT VIVA Media Baru. [2]

Personal life

Bakrie married Indonesian actress Nia Ramadhani in 2010 and they have three children: Mikhayla Zalindra Bakrie, Mainaka Zannati Bakrie and Magika Zalardi Bakrie. [4]

Sports interest

On 17 November 2015, Bakrie founded Komite Olahraga Beladiri Indonesia (KOBI) / Indonesian Committee for Martial Arts. The organization became the home of Indonesian Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athletes and pushed for its development in Indonesia. In 2019, KOBI officially became a member of International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). [5]

Subsequently Bakrie founded One Pride MMA an Indonesian Mixed Martial Arts competition alongside Otis Hahijary and David Eric Burke. The competition aired on tvOne since 2016. In 2017, One Pride received the Panasonic Gobel Awards (Indonesian Television Award) as Favorite Sports Program. [6]
