Anja Meldo (born 19 April 1945) is a Finnish orienteering competitor. She received a silver medal in the relay event at the 1966 World Orienteering Championships in Fiskars together with Pirjo Ruotsalainen and Raila Hovi. [1]

He was also part of the Finnish team that obtained bronze in the 1981 Relay World Championship in Thun, Switzerland. He won the Jukola relay in 1987.

Janne Juhani Salmi is a Finnish orienteering competitor and world champion. He won the short distance at the 1997 World Orienteering Championships, and a gold medal in the relay at the 2001 World Orienteering Championships. He won a total of three individual world championship medals and four relay medals, and won the Jukola relay three times with the club Turun Suunnistajat.

Outi Borgenström is a Finnish orienteering competitor. She won the 1979 Individual World Orienteering Championships, and took bronze medal 1974. She is also Relay World Champion, as a member of the Finnish winning team 1978.

Heli Jukkola is a Finnish orienteering competitor. She won the Long Distance World Orienteering Championships in 2007, and achieved second place in 2005. In the Middle Distance category, she finished second in 2007 and third in both 2003 and 2004. Jukkola is a two-time Relay World Champion, winning in 2006 and 2007 as a member of the Finnish team. She also earned a silver medal in 2004.

Kirsi Boström is a Finnish orienteering competitor and World champion. She won the 1999 Classic distance World Orienteering Championships. She won a gold medal at the 1995 World Orienteering Championships in Detmold with the Finnish relay team. She received silver medals with the relay team in 1993 and in 1999 (Inverness).

Minna Kauppi is a Finnish orienteer, who was born in Asikkala and lives in Lahti. Kauppi is a nine-time World Champion, including five golds from relays. Kauppi is the most successful Finnish orienteer of all time when ranked by number of gold medals at the World Orienteering Championships. Kauppi was named Finnish Sports Personality of the Year in 2010.

Sinikka Kukkonen was a Finnish orienteering competitor. She is World Champion in both orienteering and ski orienteering. She became the first World Champion in ski orienteering, in 1975.

Johanna Asklöf is a Finnish orienteering competitor and World champion.

Mats Haldin is a Finnish orienteering competitor and two-time European champion with the Finnish relay team. He received a silver medal with the Finnish relay team at the 2003 World Orienteering Championships in Rapperswil/Jona, and again in 2006 in Aarhus. He received a bronze medal in relay at the 2007 World Championships in Kyiv. At the 2009 World Orienteering Championships in Miskolc he won a bronze medal in the relay, together with Topi Anjala and Tero Föhr.

Mårten Boström is a Finnish orienteering competitor and long-distance runner. He won a gold medal in sprint at the 2013 World Orienteering Championships in Vuokatti. He reached the podium in the junior race at the Nordic Cross Country Championships in 2001, taking the bronze. He received a bronze medal in sprint at the 2004 European Orienteering Championships in Roskilde. He received a silver medal in the classic distance at the 2001 Junior World Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the relay event in 2000. He won Jukola in 2004 and 2005.

Ari Anjala is a Finnish orienteering competitor, three times medalist in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships.

Jorma Karvonen is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He won a gold medal at the first World Ski Orienteering Championships in Hyvinkää in 1975 in the relay event with the Finnish team. He also received an individual silver medal in 1975, and a bronze medal at the 1977 World Championships in Avesta.

Mirja Puhakka is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. She received an individual gold medal at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in Avesta in 1980, and again in Lavarone in 1984. She won the relay event in the 1980 World Championships with the Finnish team, and received silver medals in 1982 and in 1984.

Veijo Tahvanainen is a Finnish orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the relay event and finished 10th in the individual event at the 1968 World Orienteering Championships in Linköping. In 1970 he finished 14th in the individual event, and 4th with the Finnish relay team. At the 1972 World Orienteering Championships in Staré Splavy, he placed 9th in the individual contest, and was part of the Swiss relay team. He won the Jukola relay in 1967 and 1968.

Markku Salminen was a Finnish orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the relay event and finished 13th in the individual event at the 1968 World Orienteering Championships in Linköping. In 1970 he finished 4th with the Finnish relay team. In 1974 he finished 16th in the individual event, and received a silver medal in the relay with the Finnish team. In 1976 he finished 5th in the individual event, and received a bronze in the relay. Salminen won the 1970 and 1978 Jukola relay.

Hannu Mäkirinta was a Finnish orienteering competitor. At the 1974 World Orienteering Championships in Silkeborg he finished 16th in the individual event, and received a silver medal in the relay with the Finnish team. In 1976 he finished 15th in the individual event, and received a bronze in the relay. He won the 1975 Jukola relay.
