The Security Consultancy Wing is a consultancy wing of the Central Industrial Security Force in India,responsible for providing consultancy services to both public and private enterprises in the fields of security and fire safety. The CISF received the mandate to provide such consultancy services to enterprises after an amendment in the Central Industrial Security Force Act,1968,in 1999 and a wing dedicated for this purpose was launched on 7 December 2001 by the Deputy Prime Minister of India,Lal Krishna Advani. Located at the CISF Headquarters in New Delhi and headed by a deputy inspector general of police-rank officer,the wing has provided its services to many public and private bodies including industrial installations,educational institutions and government buildings among others.
Nidigattu Sanjay,better known as N. Sanjay,is a Silver jubilee 1996-batch Regular Recruit (RR) Indian Police Service Officer belonging to Andhra Pradesh cadre. At present,Sanjay is the Chief of AP Criminal Investigation Department. He also holds full additional charges as Director-General of AP Disaster Response and Fire Services and as Director,AP Police Personnel and Training.
M. A. Ganapathy is a retired Indian Police Service Officer of the 1986 batch of Uttarakhand cadre,served as the Director General of the National Security Guard from 18 March 2021 to 29 February 2024. He has previously served as Director General of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and Director General of Police,Uttarakhand.
Ram Pravaesh Thakur is an Indian police officer and former Andhra Pradesh DGP. He is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the 1986 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He was appointed as DGP on 1 July 2018 and served in the position till 1 June 2019. He is a B.Tech graduate from IIT Kanpur joined the Indian Police Service in 1986.
HJ Dora is a 1965 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre,the former Director General of Police,Andhra Pradesh and former Vigilance Commissioner,Government of India. Dora joined the Indian Police Service in 1965 and was allotted to Andhra Pradesh Cadre. After serving as an additional D.G. of Police (C.I.D.),in Andhra Pradesh,he was promoted to the Director General of Police for the State in 1996. In 2002 he went on deputation as Director General of Police to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in New Delhi. He also served as the president of Indian Olympic Weight Lifting Association and was also the Chef-de-mission of the Indian contingent to the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 1993,Dora was one of the 40-odd policemen marked for death by the People's War Group (PWG).
Harish Kumar Gupta,IPS,is principal secretary (home),government of Andhra Pradesh. He belongs to the 1992 batch of the Indian Police Service. Harish Kumar Gupta hails from Jammu and Kashmir (state). His career spanning over three decades began in the nineties in Undivided Andhra Pradesh. After the bifurcation of the state in 2014,he was retained in the residuary Andhra Pradesh.
Ravi Joseph Lokku,IPS,is the present Additional Director General,Bureau of Police Research and Development,New Delhi. He is also on the Executive Council of Rashtriya Raksha University,New Delhi.
C. V. Anand is an Indian Police Service officer. He currently serves as the Commissioner of Police,Hyderabad in the rank of Director general of police. He earlier served as the Director General,Anti-Corruption Bureau and as the Commissioner of Police,Cyberabad.
