Bookanakere Siddalingappa Yediyurappa,often referred to by his initials BSY,is an Indian politician currently serving as the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party Parliamentary board committee since 17 August 2022,termed as the highest office of authority in the party. He served as the 19th Chief Minister of Karnataka,and currently a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Karnataka Lokayukta is the ombudsman institution of the Indian state of Karnataka. It was established in 1984 to investigate and report on corruption in the Government of Karnataka and to redress public grievances related to state government employees. This Lokayukta that was once considered the most powerful such institution in the state. However,it was stripped of its investigative powers before transferring them to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Karnataka Police directly under the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2016. The High Court of Karnataka dissolved ACB and restored all the ongoing cases to the Karnataka Lokayukta in 2022.
Chakkere Puttamade Gowda Yogeshwara is an Indian Politician and Actor from the state of Karnataka who served as the Minister of Tourism,Environment and Ecology Department of Karnataka from 21 January 2021 to 26 July 2021. He is a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council and is a former member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Channapatna constituency. Lehar Singh Siroya is an Indian politician who is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka since July 2022. Previously Siroya was a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Council from 14 June 2016 to 14 June 2022. He is a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka.
Dayananda Reddy is an Indian politician,entrepreneur,philanthropist and a former MLC for Bangalore Urban district at the Karnataka Legislative Council. He is known for adopting 7500 underprivileged students and giving them free education since 2010 through his foundation funded by his own businesses. Till date,the students of the foundation have planted more than 50,000 trees across Bangalore. The students have also been trained to spread awareness for keeping the city clean and green. Reddy joined the BJP in March 2018.
