Johanna "Ans" Koning (27 March 1923 – 22 July 2006) was a Dutch javelin thrower. She competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics and finished in 6th place. Two years earlier she won a bronze medal at the 1946 European Athletics Championships. [1] [2]

HNLMS <i>Koning der Nederlanden</i>

HNLMS Koning der Nederlanden was an iron-hulled ironclad ramtorenschip built by the Rijkswerf at Amsterdam for the Royal Netherlands Navy in the early 1870s. She was the largest ship to serve in the Dutch Navy during the 19th century. The ship was converted to a barracks ship in the late 1890s and stationed in Surabaya in the Dutch East Indies. Koning der Nederlanden was scuttled in Surabaya on 2 March 1942, during the Battle of Java, to prevent her capture by the Japanese.

She competed in the 67 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics; she was defeated by Hwang Kyung-seon in the preliminary round and eliminated by Helena Fromm in the repechage contest. In the 2016 Summer Olympics, she defeated Farida Azizova to win the bronze medal. She was part of an Ivorian team that included Cheick Sallah Cissé who also won a medal and Mamina Koné. Gbagbi returned in the 2020 Summer Olympics, winning another bronze.
