Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme // ( 
listen ) (21 January 1944 - 9 June 2020) was a Nigerian businessman from Anambra State, south-eastern Nigeria. He was the founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Tonimas Nigeria Limited, a local manufacturing and trading company. [1] He was a Papal Knights of St. Gregory recipient, [2] and member of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI). [3] He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the APGA political party in Nigeria. [4]
Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme was born on 21 January 1944 to the Enukeme Family of Obiuno Umudioka Neni in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, along the Akwaeze roadside from Nkwo Market at Igbo Ukwu township. [5] [6] He was an only son, and had one sister. After his Primary school education, he underwent the Igbo Apprentice Scheme training for 15 years as a Petrol station attendant at Oturkpo, Benue State, and at Aba Ngwa market in Abia State. In 1975, he embarked on a further education drive that saw him complete both secondary and tertiary education in Public Administration by 1985. He then acquired a Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy, both from Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
Chief Enukeme founded Tonimas Nigeria Limited in 1981 and incorporated it as a limited liability company in 1982. The company markets and distributes refined petroleum products, manufactures aluminum roofing sheets and nails. He later diversified to hospitality, plastic manufacturing, tank farms, [7] haulage, and shipping businesses. [8]
Chief Enukeme is happily married to Iyom Mary Uzoaku Enukeme (Iyom Mmiliaku) and the marriage is blessed with six children.
He died on 9 June 2020 after a brief illness which was due to his inability to travel for routine medical checks caused by the COVID19 related lock-down in Nigeria. [9] [10]
Chief Enukeme built Saint James’ Catholic Church at Neni including a rectory, chapel, church hall, grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary [11] and handed it over to the Awka Diocese of the Catholic Church for a worship place. [12] A requiem mass was held in his honor at the church after his death. [13] He also built the St. Agatha Catholic Church, Umuarakpa, Aba. [14]

Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR is a Nigerian politician and economics professor who serves as the fifth democratic Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2022. Soludo is a former governor and chairman of the board of directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He was appointed as the bank's governor on 29 May 2004. He is also a member of the British Department for International Development's International Advisory Group and member of President Buhari's Presidential Economic Advisory Committee.
Alor is one of the seven communities comprising the Idemili South Local Government of Anambra State in the southeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Oseloka Henry Obaze (OHO) is a native of Ochuche Umuodu in Anambra State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian diplomat, politician, author and a retired United Nations official who served the organization as an international civil servant between 1991 and 2012. Prior to working at the United Nations, he worked as a career Foreign Service Officer (FSO) in the Nigerian Diplomatic Service from 1982-1991. Following his retirement from the United Nations, Oseloka H. Obaze served as Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State, Nigeria from June, 2012 till June, 2015 under former Governor Peter Obi and former Governor Willie Obiano.

He is the founder of Expression 1 Awka. From 2018 to 2019, he served as the Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy.

Gilbert Onyekachukwu Ibezim is a Nigerian politician and medical doctor who is the current Deputy Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2022. Ibezim won the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial elections alongside his running mate Charles Soludo on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Ibezim is also a brother to the Anglican bishop of the Diocese on the Niger, Alexander Ibezim.
The 2023 Nigerian Senate elections in Anambra State will be held on 25 February 2023, to elect the 3 federal Senators from Anambra State, one from each of the state's three senatorial districts. The elections will coincide with the 2023 presidential election, as well as other elections to the Senate and elections to the House of Representatives; with state elections being held two weeks later. Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.
