Banaras Hindu University (BHU) (Hindi: काशीहिन्दूविश्वविद्यालय),formerly Central Hindu College,is a collegiate,central,and research university located in Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh,India. It was established in 1916 jointly by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya,the Maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh,Maharaja of Banaras Prabhu Narayan Singh,Sunder Lal and British Theosophist and Home Rule League founder Annie Besant. With over 30,000 students,and 18,000 residing on campus,BHU is the largest residential university in Asia. The university is one of the eight public institutions declared as an Institute of Eminence by the Government of India.
The University of Delhi,informally known as Delhi University (DU),is a collegiate public central university located in New Delhi,India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly and is recognized as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the University Grants Commission (UGC). As a collegiate university,its main functions are divided between the academic departments of the university and constituent colleges. Consisting of three colleges,two faculties,and 750 students at its founding,the University of Delhi has since become India's largest institution of higher learning and among the largest in the world. The university has 16 faculties and 86 departments distributed across its North and South campuses. It has 77 constituent colleges and five other institutes. The Vice President of India serves as the university chancellor.

Delhi Technological University (DTU),formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini,Delhi,India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952,it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institute has been under the Government of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009,the college was given university status,thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University.
Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUaT),formerly Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (NDUaT),is a university located in Kumarganj,Uttar Pradesh,India,established in 1975. It is named after the politician and educator Narendra Deva,who served as vice chancellor of the University of Lucknow and Banaras Hindu University. It has constituent colleges in Ambedkar Nagar district and Azamgarh district.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi,formerly Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi and Ambedkar University Delhi,and simply AUD,is a state university established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature. The university began functioning in August 2008. It is a Unitary non-affiliating University whose main focus is on undergraduate and postgraduate studies and on research in the Humanities and the Social Sciences. It is completely funded by the State Government of the NCT of Delhi. The university is now declared eligible to receive Central Government Assistance. The university has been graded 'A' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is named after the polymath B. R. Ambedkar,the architect of the Indian Constitution and one of the founding fathers of India.
Sarup Singh was an Indian academic turned politician. He remained a faculty member at Kirori Mal College,Delhi,and later became the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi (1971–74). He was member of the Rajya Sabha from Haryana (1978-1984) of Lok Dal party. He was later appointed Governor of Gujarat in December 1990 and held the position till 1995,and earlier he was the Governor of Kerala.

Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies (BPIBS) is a government higher education institute located in New Delhi,India. It grants various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes,being affiliated to Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). The institute was established in the year 1965 by the Government of the NCT of Delhi and it was named after Sikh Martyr,Bhai Parmanand in 1986. The institute is approved by the Directorate of Training and Technical Education and by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is also ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Anuradha Kapur is an Indian theatre director and professor of drama. She taught at the National School of Drama (NSD) for over three decades and was the Director of National School of Drama for six years (2007–2013). For her work as a theatre director,the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award was conferred on her in 2004. In 2016,she was awarded the J. Vasanthan Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in theatre. Her work as a director is noted for its open and interactive nature.
Dev Swarup is an Indian educational administrator. He is first founding vice-chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University. He has been also additional secretary (2019-2020) of University Grants Commission (India) and joint secretary,UGC,New Delhi. He was vice-chancellor of the University of Rajasthan,from 2013-14. He resigned from the University of Rajasthan in November 2014. He is also member of statutory body,General Council of National Law University,Jodhpur.
V. K. Ahuja is a professor at the Faculty of Law,University of Delhi,India and is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of National Law University and Judicial Academy,Assam (NLUJAA),India. He has been a legal academic in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and International Law.
