Anup Wadhawan is the Commerce Secretary for the Government of India. [1]

An IAS officer of the 1985 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre, Wadhawan received a bachelor's degree from University of Delhi and followed it up with a postgraduate degree from Delhi School of Economics. He earned a PhD from Duke University. Wadhawan has served both central in various roles at Department of Commerce, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Department of Financial Services, Department of Economic Affairs, and Prime Minister's Office (India). Ashok Kumar Gupta

Ashok Kumar Gupta belongs to the 1981 Batch of the Indian Administrative Service. He has had an illustrious career of 40 years in public service, spanning across sectors from industry and finance, to health and defence production. Prior to his appointment as the Chair of the Competition Commission of India in 2018, he held several key positions in the Central Government, such as Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Defence Production, where he was responsible for liberalising the licensing regime and FDI policy. He has also held several positions in the Ministries of Health, Heavy Industries, Shipping, MSME, Commerce & Industry. While posted as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health, he dealt with matters relating to International Cooperation, World Bank, and WHO projects.
