Aparshakti Khurana (born 18 November 1987) is an Indian actor, radio jockey, comedian, playback singer, composer and television host. [1] He is the younger brother of actor Ayushmann Khurrana. [2]

Aparshakti Khurana has shown his acting skills in numerous Bollywood movies, ranging from Dangal to Stree 2 [3] .

Early life

Khurrana was born on 18 November 1987 in Chandigarh. [4] His father P. Khurrana was an astrologer and an author on the subject of black magic , whereas his mother Poonam is a house wife of half-Burmese descent [5] and holds an M.A. in Hindi.[ citation needed ] He completed his schooling and graduation in law from Chandigarh. [6] He was also into sports at school [7] and captained the Haryana U-19 cricket team. [7] He completed his higher education in the field of Mass Communication from IIMC Delhi.

He is the younger brother of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana.

Personal life

He married Aakriti Ahuja, a businesswoman and an ISB graduate (whom he met at a dance class in Chandigarh) [7] on 7 September 2014. In June 2021, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. The couple became parents to a baby girl on 27 August 2021, Arzoie A Khurana. [8]

The Maddock Supernatural Universe (MSU) is an Indian shared universe consisting of Hindi-language supernatural comedy horror films. All the films in this universe are based on Indian folklore. The first instalment was Stree, followed by the second instalment Roohi. These films were standalone, and the universe-building began with Bhediya, in which characters from Stree appeared. The next in line was Munjya, where characters from Bhediya appeared. Stree 2 also featured characters from Bhediya, making Bhediya the shared connection between all three films. So far, Roohi remains a standalone entity in this universe.
