Appajipeta is a village and Gram panchayat of Nalgonda mandal, Nalgonda district, in Telangana state. [1]
A gram panchayat is the only grassroots-level of panchayati raj formalised local self-governance system in India at the village or small-town level, and has a sarpanch as its elected head.
Nalgonda district is a district in the Telangana state of India. It has a population of 3,483,648, of which 13.32% is urban as of 2011. The district shares boundaries with Suryapet, Rangareddy, Yadadri, and Nagarkurnool districts, and with the state boundary of Andhra Pradesh.
