April Margera (born March 28, 1956) [2] [3] is an American reality television personality who has appeared on MTV's Viva La Bam and Jackass , as well as the CKY videos, Haggard , Minghags and Bam's Unholy Union .
April Margera is married to Phil Margera and together they are the parents of skateboarder and Jackass star Bam Margera and CKY drummer Jess Margera. Jeff Tremaine, producer of Jackass, once referred to her as "everyone's mom", telling how she cooked dinner for the entire Jackass crew on their first trip to West Chester, Pennsylvania. She is a trained hairdresser. [2]
In 2006, she published a cookbook called April Cooks: There's an Alligator in My Kitchen, which is a play on the fact that Bam put an alligator in her kitchen as part of a skit on Jackass: The Movie (he was trying to make her swear because the movie would be uncensored). [4] This was achieved in the film and in Jackass Number Two . In October 2007, she testified on behalf of the defense for her brother-in-law Vincent Margera's trial.
In December 2011, it was announced that Margera had opened The Rose Hip Barn, along with her mother Velma and her daughter-in-law Kelly. The store, located in Thornton, Pennsylvania, sells refurbished furniture as well as homemade purses and accessories for the home. [5]
In March 2016, April and Bam Margera appeared on the VH1 reality television show Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn to work on their relationship and confront Bam's alcoholism. [6]

Viva La Bam is an American reality television series that stars Bam Margera and his friends and family. The show is a spin-off from MTV's Jackass, in which Margera and most of the main cast appeared. Each episode had a specific theme, mission, or challenge which was accomplished by performing pranks, skateboarding, and enlisting the help of friends, relatives, and/or experts. Although partly improvised, the show was supported by a greater degree of planning and organization.
Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass and subsequent films. Jesse Margera is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1998. Prior to CKY, Margera performed in the band Foreign Objects with former CKY vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, and he has since worked with Gnarkill, Viking Skull, The Company Band, Fuckface Unstoppable, and Sovereign Eagle. Margera has also appeared in the CKY video series and the Viva La Bam and Jackass television series alongside his brother Bam.
CKY is an American rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania formed in 1998 by vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and drummer Jess Margera. In 2011, Miller left the band which has since continued with Margera and Ginsburg, along with touring bassist Ronnie Elvis James who began performing with the band in 2023. Since Miller's departure in 2011, Ginsburg has taken over as frontman. Miller has since reformed pre-CKY group Foreign Objects and founded 96 Bitter Beings, his own continuance of the material he previously played with CKY.

Radio Bam was a Sirius XM radio station hosted by professional skateboarder and Jackass cast member Bam Margera that aired on Mondays at 7 pm, straight after The Jason Ellis Show. The show's supporting cast was originally made up of Margera's fellow CKY crew members Brandon DiCamillo and Brandon Novak, who appeared on most episodes of the show's early years, with frequent guest appearances from Ryan Dunn, Rake Yohn and Chris Raab, as well as Bam's parents April Margera and Phil Margera, uncle Don Vito, and occasional appearances from the Jackass crew.
