Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known by his stage name Afroman, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is known for his songs "Because I Got High", released in 2000, and "Crazy Rap", which was released in 2001 and both were featured on his album The Good Times. Afroman was nominated for a Grammy award in 2002.
Dan Trejo, who is known by his credited stage name as Danny Trejo, is an American actor and restaurateur who has appeared in numerous and various Hollywood films. His films include Heat (1995), Con Air (1997), Bubble Boy (2001), and Desperado (1995), the latter with his frequent collaborator and second cousin Robert Rodriguez. Trejo was perhaps most recognized as the character Machete, originally developed by Rodriguez for the Spy Kids series of movies and later expanded into Trejo's own series of films aimed at a more adult audience. He has appeared in TV shows such as Stargate Atlantis, Breaking Bad, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The X-Files, King of the Hill, The Flash, and Sons of Anarchy. He has also appeared in several music videos for the American band Slayer.
Molotov is a Mexican rap rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing.

Premios MTV Latinoamérica was the Latin American version of the Video Music Awards. They were established in 2002 to celebrate the top music videos of the year in Latin America and the world. They are presented annually and broadcast live on MTV Networks Latin America. Until 2004, all the VMALAs were held in Miami. The 2005 edition was the first one planned to be held outside the United States, but the show was cancelled. The 2006 VMALAs were held in Mexico City, and therefore were the first ones to actually be celebrated in Latin America. In 2010 the awards were permanently cancelled.

Alejandro Rosso is more involved with the creative process, providing most of the instrumentation and occasional background vocals.
