The Arab Thought Foundation [1] is an independent international non-governmental organization. Since its establishment in the year 2000 by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, with the support of a group of intellectuals, investors and businessmen, the Foundation has been committed to instilling pride in the traditions, principles and values of the nation by promoting responsible freedom, reinforcing Arab solidarity and strengthening the unifying Arab identity, while preserving diversity and plurality.
ATF has adopted an approach based on fostering partnerships and cooperation with complementing relevant organizations, institutions, think tanks and research centers. It has also launched many programs and projects aimed at empowering the youth, modernizing the teaching and learning methods of the Arabic language and highlighting the importance of dialogue and openness to the world's many languages and cultures.
ATF has sought to spread knowledge, encourage creativity and innovation, develop structures and mentalities and achieve the objectives of comprehensive and sustainable development, through its various programs, projects, conferences, awards, forums, seminars, books, reports, and other publications.
FIKR Conference
Since 2002, it constitutes a landmark in the history of cultural conferences in the Arab World, and an interactive platform for constructive exchange of ideas, expertise and leading experiences. The Conference raises every year an emerging topic affecting the Arab World and addresses it in a scientific, civilized and responsible manner.
Arab Creativity Award
It was launched in 2007 with the aim of highlighting creative works and stimulating innovation, as well as stressing on the outstanding achievements, exceptional ideas, innovative work and creative energies, in order to contribute in spreading and promoting the culture of creativity, with a particular focus on young generations.
Youth Program
It was launched in 2007 with the aim to stimulate the potential and creative energies of the youth and empower them to assume responsibilities, develop their communities, enhance the spirit of participation and cooperation, and raise the level of awareness, culture and knowledge.
Education Program
They includes "Arabi21" program, which aims to contribute to the development of Arabic language learning and teaching methods; “TAMAM” project that represents an innovative model for the development of schools in the Arab world, as well as “Tarbiya21” project which aims to contribute to the educational development through knowledge exchange among educators around the world.
Research Center
Since its launch in 2010, it has been publishing books, reports, researches, scientific studies and research-based projects, and other publications in relation to the developmental, intellectual and cultural aspects of the Arab world. The most prominent publications are the Arab Annual Report on Cultural Development, Ofoq Newsletter, and a series of translated books from French, Spanish, Chinese and Indian to Arabic within “One Civilization" program.

The creative industries refers to a range of economic activities which are concerned with the generation or exploitation of knowledge and information. They may variously also be referred to as the cultural industries (especially in Europe or the creative economy, and most recently they have been denominated as the Orange Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes. Youth empowerment aims to improve quality of life. Youth empowerment is achieved through participation in youth empowerment programs. However scholars argue that children's rights implementation should go beyond learning about formal rights and procedures to give birth to a concrete experience of rights. There are numerous models that youth empowerment programs use that help youth achieve empowerment. A variety of youth empowerment initiatives are underway around the world. These programs can be through non-profit organizations, government organizations, schools or private organizations.
The Access to Knowledge (A2K) movement is a loose collection of civil society groups, governments, and individuals converging on the idea that access to knowledge should be linked to fundamental principles of justice, freedom, and economic development.
Ali Omar Ermes was a Libyan artist and author. His paintings make use of Arabic calligraphy, often superimposed on a rich-textured ground, and may incorporate fragments of Arabic or other poetry or prose. He had lived in the United Kingdom since 1981, and was the chairman of the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre in Kensington in west London; he was also active in other intellectual and cultural institutions in that city.
The Science Communication Observatory is a Special Research Centre attached to the Department of Communication of the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, set up in 1994. This centre is specialized in the study and analysis of the transmission of scientific, medical, environmental and technological knowledge to society. The journalist Vladimir de Semir, associated professor of Science Journalism at the Pompeu Fabra University, was the founder and is the current director of the centre. A multidisciplinary team of researchers coming from different backgrounds is working on various lines of research: science communication; popularization of sciences, risk and crisis communication; science communication and knowledge representation; journalism specialized in science and technology; scientific discourse analysis; health and medicine in the daily press; relationships between science journals and mass media; history of science communication; public understanding of science; gender and science in the mass media, promotion of scientific vocations, science museology, etc.
The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is the government body responsible for information and communications technology (ICT) issues in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Established in 1999, MCIT is responsible for the planning, implementation and operation of government ICT plans and strategies. MCIT is led by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who is nominated by the Prime Minister and is a member of the cabinet. The current ICT Minister is Amr Talaat who assumed the position on 14 June 2018. MCIT is headquartered in Smart Village Egypt, in 6th of October, Giza Governorate, in the Cairo metropolitan area.
Junior Ambassador is an international cultural exchange and relations organization. Junior Ambassador manages international cultural exchange programs, which are certified by government organizations to train young global leaders(youth ambassadors).
Silatech is an organization based in Qatar, spearheaded by the wife of the former Emir of Qatar Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser. The current CEO of this organization is Ms Sabah AlHaidoos. Silatech means "your connection" in Arabic. The initiative seeks to create jobs and economic opportunities for young people in the Arab world, targeting 18- to 30-year-olds. by 2016, Silatech claims to have helped 200,000 young Arabs to obtain jobs. The initiative’s model involves building partnerships with governments, private companies and NGOs.
The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies is an Arab research institute with particular interest in the social sciences, applied social sciences, regional history and geostrategic affairs. To this effect the ACRPS coordinates and develops research, publications, projects and events on issues and challenges relevant to the Arab world. The ACRPS primarily conducts its work in Arabic but publishes in both Arabic and English.
Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi is the founder and CEO of children's publisher Kalimat Group, founder and chairperson of Kalimat Foundation, founder and president of the Emirates Publishers Association, founder and patron of the UAE Board on Books for Young People, and president of the International Publishers Association (2021–2023), after being vice president (2019–2021). Her father is Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, since 1972 the ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah. In 2014, she was ranked at number 34 by Forbes in its list of 200 Most Powerful Arab Women in Family Business.

Saeed Al Nazari is the Director General of the Federal Youth Authority of the UAE, Executive Director of the Youth at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, and Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Youth Center. During his career, he has overseen more than fifty national projects, including the development of the National Youth Agenda and the Emirati Youth Empowerment Model in the UAE. Shaker Abdel Hamid Suleiman was a former Egyptian Minister of Culture. Born in Assiut, Upper Egypt, he served as secretary general of the Supreme Council of Culture, then minister of culture at the Ministry of Kamal al-Ganzuri in December 2011, and was a professor of creative psychology - The Egyptian Academy of Arts. He died a week after he was infected with COVID-19.

The center's headquarter is located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It specialises in organising events, conducting research and development (R&D), producing forecasts on Arab Youth trends/thinking and devising strategic initiatives.
The WIPO Academy is the training arm of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), it was established in 1998. It offers intellectual property (IP) education, training and IP skills-building to government officials, inventors, creators, business professionals, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), academics, students and individuals interested in IP. The Academy hosts IP courses through its four programs: the Professional Development Program, University Partnerships, Distance Learning and WIPO Summer Schools.
