Araucarivora is a monotypic moth genus in the family Elachistidae. Its only species, Araucarivora gentilii, is found in Argentina. Both the genus and species were described by Ronald W. Hodges in 1997. [1]

The forewings are dark grey brown. The tips of the scales in the distal two-thirds of the wings are pale grey and slightly grey in the basal one-third of the wing. The hindwings are darker brown than the forewings.

The larvae feed on Araucaria araucana . They mine the needles of their host plant. The mine has the form of a large blotch. The frass is deposited inside the mine. Pupation takes place inside the mine. [2]
